Going Back To Cyrodiil.

Back in the day when I had no life, I had to have put 800+ hours in three different characters.

After playing Skyrim since it's release date, I have decided to journey back to Cyrodiil and reminisce of the good ol' days.

Of course there are a few issues, the controls are a bit different, but I have also noticed the menu navigation is much smoother and your character can unsheathe his/her sword like they're on PCP.

I'm a mage at heart, so I decided to play a HE Pure Mage and since I've had so much experience before, I turned the difficulty up to roughly an expert level. (4/5)

I gotta say, though, I did enjoy the hotkey more than I did the favorites bar. It's much easier for a mage if they can constantly switch spell in mid-battle.

It seems like there are a lot of people who have been doing the same thing recently.

As I already said in another thread today, I returned to Cyrodiil too and started new playthrough as a Khajitt today. In my case, I put Morrowind aside for some time - I've really played it for long time now and I needed a change.
The fact that I can see my character every time I open up inventory / journal, turn him around is one of the best interface features in Oblivion.

I have yet to complete mage playthrough in Oblivion.
