Gold Reward in Quests

Post » Wed Jul 09, 2014 9:35 am

Ok this is most likly a noob question and possibly a very old topic but I just restarted on skyrim from not playing in forever and i remembered that one time when I had finished the Dark Brotherhood questline and got quests from the Night Mother herself id get a small 300+ gold reward then later on id get 600+ and then 1000+ gold reward. My question is this.Does the gold reward for any quest get higher based on your level or is it something else?

I thought it was the same every time, though it's been a while since I've played any radiant quests.

As far as I remember, they raise with the player's level.

Must only be for certain quests though, right? The radiant quests always seem to give me the same amount of gold, no matter what.

Argh, I don't remember, sorry. I've modded all the quests rewards in my game: they were too high for my liking. :P I don't see why the radiant quests rewards would be fixed though...

By the time you'll have reached the level needed for the biggest reward you'll have more gold than all the possible rewards grouped together.

Iron Dagger + Banish + Paralyze enchants sells for a little more than an entire hold's sense of safety when it comes to dragons. :D

Yeah Bethesda has always made it too easy to make money in game. 1 gold piece during our own medieval times was more money that a commoner would see in a year (if not several years).

That's probably the reason why there aren't prosttutes nor gigolos in the game.
