I'm gonna miss it.

It's almost that time, I can't believe that New Vegas is almost finished. I used to prefer FO3, but no, this is the best for me. Thinking of the memories, first time on the STRIP, playing it 24/7 the first week it was out, my girlfriend nearly left me lol. It's awesome, Obsidian are brilliant. I wish I could go back and relive that October release.

What about you guys, will you miss this?

I definately won't miss the crashes and bugs I got playing the early FNV. But I will kind of miss the patched version of FNV. But I won't really "miss" anything. I don't usually "miss" anything when games are about to be finished.

Being a console user, after the DLC and such, I really can't do much more to keep it interesting, So i'll let it rest on the shelf, and enjoy the times in there.

The time I stop playing full stop I'll be glad that I did (probably sick as hell of it) and I might even have the next Fallout on my plate. So I probably won't really miss it, just look upon it fondly, as if I actually do end up missing it I will probably reinstall and play again.

Reinstall? Sounds like you're lucky enough to be on a P.C. ?

Yes, Dead Money, died a couple times in it. (Still haven't beaten it yet).
I just thought of more things I'll probably miss.
Laying 8 C4 Explosives around an NPC and seeing them fly into the air.
Being a Level 45 GOD, or maybe I'll change that.....yeah, Being a Level 50 GOD (when I get LR)
The excitement I got when I played it for the first time. Example: The Strip, Hoover Dam, not knowing what a Brush Gun is.

I've had to stop playing for now, i'm on ps3, and level 45, don't want 50, I want new perks, so I need a patch....

Even though I cant wait for the last piece of the puzzle with Lonesome Road im not going to lie, im sad to see it come to a end with nothing new to look forward to. There's been a whole lot of gaming memories with New Vegas and its definitely one of my favorite games I've played to date. If I could i'd shake every one of the devs hands for their work in this masterpiece of a game and as a thanks for putting up with all the crap they've had to put up with from the fanbase and still putting out the awesome string of dlc's we've got so far, cant wait for Fallout 4 you guys.

Indeed. It certainly does extend the games lifetime.

Same here. I remember a thread I made while I was at PAX last year where I speculated that the chem Fixer actually repaired clothing.

I will miss this game too! I remember playing this game alone for weeks! I still will!
I prefer this to playing FO3, oh man :(
Hell, even when I got new games, something kept bringing me back to the Mojave!

Definitely getting the GOTY (if news of one comes out, if not then the original version) on PC! :D

Depends, I'm a Console user right now, but am looking to make the move to PC. Still plan on playing it another 400-500 hours ontop of the 600-800 I have already.

Been playing almost non-stop since release. A month ago, moved to PC... and I expect I'll be occupied with it until AC:Revelations, Hitman: Absolution, TES IV, maybe Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dead Island and when I'm done with those, I'll get right back into the Mojave where I belong.

When I miss NV, I just go back to NV :D

There's really an infinite replay value as there are endless roles to be roleplayed.

Like for example, I'm playing a character who is focusing on doing stealth kills with a silenced .45 pistol ( the professional + silent running perk).....never did that before.

Dude, you were the hero for a few weeks there. Waiting for anything, the expectations, the anticipation, is always the best part. All those threads speculating about what would be in the game, every iota of screenplay diagnosed to shreds, the lists of weapons and armors, the guesses about companions. That was the [censored]. And we get to do it all again in another year or two with FO4. I'll still be around, and I can't wait to post another 20+ threads about nothing but weapons we think/want in the game. Looking forward to it.

-gunny out.

Probably will miss this game when I am done with it. It will probably sit next to Fallout 3 respectfully until the next game in the series comes out but until that happens I think Battlefield 3,Skyrim,Saints Row the Third and many other games I already have will keep me busy.
