V.A.T.S. good or bad for FNV?

With all the attachments for weapons and the amount of weapons with an available scope attachment, in New Vegas, is V.A.T.S. really used by majority players?

Yes, I use it because you lose a lot less health, and I can't shoot for crap w/o it tbh.

Plus it's fun and cinematic. :disguise:

Hehe well for full auto weapons its ok, its just the fact that the game includes so many semi auto/ bolt action weapons. Most of which can be scoped. And v.a.t.s. kind of, to me anyway, make scopes needless if were just gonna freeze time and pluck a quick kill.

Fallout 3 = VATS, VATS, ... more VATS.

Fallout: New Vegas = VATS and skill.

Well I use VATS sometime, if I feel like it and if I need too.

Fallout 3 I agree was a V.A.T.S. fest for me, but in New Vegas I only ever find myself using it to locate and pre-target enemies before exiting and sniping then from a distance
