Good or a badass? : V - Skyrim

Whenever i try to Play an evil character i feel bad...then fore myself to ho through with it since its a game. The closest i can go to evil while bein comfortable is jut by stealing, i will always save and reload if im branded evil after that choice....

Pathetic.

I can't be evil in a game without feeling bad.

However, whenever I play a good guy (who tends to be Neutral Good), they tends to be badasses.

Depends...

Myself: Good.

War: Chaotic Good. Generally good natured, but has been known to have outbursts in which he commits acts of great evil. Generally veiwed as aligned with chaos.

Ruin: Good/Neutral (depending on the situation). Generally does good, but isn't afraid to cross the line when he deems it necessary

Einar: Good (depending on what end of his sword you're on). Fights for his lands, and for what he beleives in. To his people he's a hero, to his enemies; he might as well be Alduin itself.

Raize (Thief) - Chaotic Neutral.
Kiva (Mage) - Neutral Good.
Faire (Warrior) - Chaotic Good.
Natalie (Assassin) - Neutral Evil.
Narved (Warrior) - True Neutral.

I'll mostly be playing as "good" but my character will dabble in necromancy, and assassination, so some people could describe him as "bad" as well.

Only kick I got out of the old class system in Oblivion was calling my class BadAss, so it would ask me "Are you sure you want to be a BadAss?" and i'm like, Hell yeah...

I always feel compelled to play as a good character for some reason, so my first character will be good. However, I really want to try an evil character with my second character.

Yes there is. For example, if you played Renegade in Mass Effect series Shepard was still pretty much a good guy, but some of his actions are extreme and selfish. You know, shoot first ask questions later.

lol its funny u say that, my roommate has been playing the crap out of ME lately... just finished 1 and is plowing through 2 right now. he is pretty badass ill admit, but come on, taking the good guy route compared to bad guy = no comparison

Guess I'm the complete opposite. The idea of going the goody-two-shoes route in games where another option is available makes me cringe. In fact, I haven't rolled a "good" character since my first playthrough of KOTOR. After I realized how much more fun a game is going the dark side route the idea kind of stuck with me.

It's possible for a "good" character to be a badass but it always comes off as posturing/posing since you know they're good at heart.
