ive played morrowind very little before. what do u guys suggest for a build for a beginner? i know personality is important and i know not to make acrobatics a major. my prefered race is argonian as my name suggests, but i cant seem to get a good build going. i was following this http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/913818-the-elder-scrolls-iii-morrowind/faqs/22532 but he says in the guide the class needs work. i usually got as a heavy armored battlemage type character but that class looks like it will be hard for this game. im looking for easy, overpowered builds are welcome since i may be playing it on xbox with no difficulty slider. breton spellsword with lady sign was overpowered in oblivion, is it the same here?

Since when is personality important?

You should just take one of the premade classes as I do not think one of them is much or worse or much better than the other ones.

A Combat orientated character is the easiest, by far.
Nords and Redguards make the best fighters. And the Lady Birthsign will give you a huge boost in Endurance at the start of the game. (as well as a nice boost in Personality)

Some handy skills to have as Major:
One of the Combat weapon Skills (Long Blade/Axe/Blunt/Spear), Armorer, Med or Heavy Armor

Some handy skills to have as Minor:
Security, Another Combat weapon, Alchemy, Speechcraft, Med or Heavy Armor

Having both Med and Heavy Armor will give you more options for what you can wear.

http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Morrowind_for_Oblivion_Players - this guide will be helpful too

Since when is personality important?

It's not super important, but Speechcraft (governed by Personality) is very handy.

i didnt think it would be impt either. i guess the guy who made the guide found getting more gold useful and liked to use taunt to kill ppl without a bounty. i personally like to be able to carry a lot, take alot of damage, move fast(morrowind is way to slow), and use magic.

If you want overpowered then all you need to do is level-up your alchemy and make potions, which you can either sell or consume.

So you can basically play whatever you want and fallback to alchemy if you hit a snag. It's not the most fun way to play the game, but it works.
