GOOD BYE ESO

Post » Mon Mar 17, 2014 4:36 pm

just wanted to give feedback before I quit this game

when I started playing this game, I enjoyed it, because it has nice graphics and music, but how long will this last without good gameplay?

Im a hardcoe gamer, but this game lacks lots of things, lots of stuff is copied from GW2

first PVE, give us the option to grind mobs, well u can grind mobs to some extent, but mobs spawning at same place over and over? no, also can't AOE, for example I want to gather lots of mobs and kill them, but its imposible since the more u gather the more dmg they do, also u can't go too far from their spawn point or they just run away with full health, also not enough mobs in the areas

second QUESTS: quests ARE NOT PVE, (PVE=Player vs Environment) right now the game involves all around quests, it gives the feeling like u HAVE to do them, mobs are just decoys who trying to block u, well I just run past them, heal myself and continue with quest, I found it most efficient way to xp, which is plain stupid, u do countless number of quests, it just becomes repetitive and boring

Dungeons: they are quite nice to explore with groups, but grouping is a problem. also u cant stay in one dungeon longer, its like u HAVE to move. also they are quite short. so I will consider dungeons as only option for PVE

PVP: theres not much about pvp, too little options how u want to pvp, right now u can only do WvWvW, its all the same as in GW2 with minor changes

Try rift, the AOE in that title is awesome. You have to understand the Elder scrolls games are all about story and lore and less about other things. I'm sorry you feel this way but for one am very very happy that the game is story/quest driven and a lot different to other mmos with the exception of perhaps SWTOR.

If you want AOE, build for it. It's there. Nightblade with soul rend ultimate plus 2-H Cleave for one.

And this is different from any other MMO's. How?

Its not the typical grind based game, which is a good thing.

And this is different to any game? How?
Repetitive & boring? You mean like grinding mobs?

They are a little short to a point.

But I don;t understand why you would need to spend longer in them if the content is complete?

Grouping can have its issues, I agree.

At the start, I would have said the PVP is enough.

But I spent an entire day this Beta in Cyrodil & realized that unless you go around and do the PVE quests, the PVP can seem all too repetitive.

I think a major issue is how most people in PVP concentrate on building massive groups to take a keep, yet if you do the PVE questing, your alliance gets outnumbered & keeps fall making the PVE aspect kind of difficult in some ways.

And the keeps change hands all too quickly to be of benefit to any one group, apart from transit points to move around a map.

I don't think the design is the issue per-se, but how it is played.

Maybe there needs to be some sort of limit to how many times a keep can be taken by an opponent in any 24 hours, making strategy so much more important?

Of course, they can still be atatcked, its just that they cannot be captured by another alliance.

I don't know. Its just seems that some limits need to be placed, because it seems that Cyrodil isn't limiting the players & they see no reason to limit themselves.

The players dictate the gameplay, and if they decide to do the same stuff over & over......can we really complain?

I'll try to answer why.

Imagine u come to a first dungeon, GOBLIN MINES, filed with full of monsters, you go deeper and find lots of players hunting them, then u join with them because its hard alone, then u become friends with them. Thats how all dungeons should be at my point of view.
