well i'll be getting oblivion soon and i'm gonna make a warrior guy [argonion, khatjiit, or a human with short hair.] and i was wondering what a good name would be. any suggestions?

The name generator at http://www.tamriel-rebuilt.org/?p=modding_data/ngen is pretty good at making names that fit in the game. Check it out. I'm no good with coming up with names myself, so I use it occasionally.

Google name generator. There are quite a few.

Sometimes I use the Google Translate tool and come up with possible names. For example: I typed in the word "woman" and asked for a Norwegian translation for a Skyrim name and it game me Kvinne, pronounced Keena. The tool will pronounce the word for you too. I thought that was a nice name and will use it someday. If you type in Warrior, in Norwegian you get Kriger. In Latin, you get a more Roman-sounding, Bellator. You can try the other languages until you get something you like. I hope this helps.

Just for the record not all Argonian names follow the word-word-word pattern. It's common in game for names to completely different like Teekeeus or Kud-Ei or Jeelius, etc. It just so happens, I think, because of the strangeness of the Argonian language that some of the names just happen to sound like Cyrodiilic words. (and Cyrodiil happens to sound just like what ever language your game is in)
