Good & Evil Mod
A mod for Morrowind
Features:


  • Brand new quests
  • A choice to become a Vampire or stay with the hunters.
  • Extra quests if you choose to be a vampire
  • New armors and weapons
  • New NPCs
  • Scripted effects of the quest line
  • And a lot of great fun!


The mod is currently in production. I'm alone on making this mod and I will keep you up to date here on TES forums. If you would like to join this project then your welcome just tell me what your skill is best at. You can email me on this mail: dubbel_trubbel_med_bananer@live.se (yes I'm from Sweden) But anyways I love the vampire thing in Morrowind. But there was something missing. A war between Vampires and Vampire hunters. So this is what I'm aiming on this mod. I have planned that the mod will be full of puzzels that the player must come through. Actually there is a puzzle almost at the very beginning of the mod. The mod is more like The star wars thing between the sith and the jedi but it has taken the theme of Morrowind Vampires instead. Maybe in due good time I will add some highly advanced spells that will allow the player as a powerfull Vampire or Vampire hunter to control the nature. Like calling down metheors or summoning the nature beasts or some minions. I will make the mod compatible with the other well known vampire mods such as Vampire Embrace etc.


The mod will be published on TES Nexus, TES Alliance and Planetelderscrolls for download as well as my own website that I will create. I look forward to making this mod finished and see how you all dark siders or good siders will enjoy it's content. I will soon post more info on the mods progress and perhaps some sneak pics :)


Will you have the guts to see what's on the other side?

Hi there again folks. I've searched a little and I've decided that the dread knight armor is going to be the one to symbolize the vampire faction. Sounds like promising material, but can't say anything before we see some pics and information on the story itself.

One note tho, try to use more common fonts and colors from now on, since many people are either irritated or have a bad eye vision so it can be a bit of a trouble to read it for them.

May I ask, how long have you been modding?

But, it would be nice to not have a blatant Good vs. Evil theme. I like greyed morality, and I've never felt as though Vampires have been properly explored in this area.

May I ask, how long have you been modding?

I've been modding from time to time. but never really published any good mods. Most of them were smaller ones. You can find my mods if you search for kodman91 on planetelderscrolls.
The biggest mod I made was the Star wars total conversion but it was rather a big gigantic fail. :( But on the other hand it was my first mod and it was released like 3 or 4 years ago. Then i made smaller mods like the quest for the star walker armor. ( which was actually a showoff on my skills designing dungeons it was pretty good but never was rated. And it had barely any comments.

But this mod am I looking foreward to now that my ghanburighan scripting for dummies book that i printed have returned to my hands :)

And I won't use the irritating fonts again :)

Thank you Hircine :) Well i thought of it that way that there should be a war between the hunters and the vampires :) Theough they will not be ordinary vampires. They will be Vampires with a hardcoe looking armor and longsword :) and the hunters will be hardcoe looking paladins also with hardcoe longswords. :)

Here is the describtion of the mod:
You as the player will join the Vampire hunters guild known as "Lux Salvator" meaning "Savior of light" in latin. You will go through different really really creepy tests that will literarly make you poo in your pants. After that you will be assigned to a Hunting master that will teach you how to hunt down Vampires. And he will travel with you to a special location where you will find your sword. A sword that easely kill newbie vampires and vampire creatures. You will be able to do some freelance vampire hunting work where you will be payed for every vampire you kill. And you will be able to go through a specific story where in the later parts you will be able to choose to become a vampire or to stay with the Vampire hunters. There is also a specific vampire clan called "Demo Torturum Krati".
They are aimed at taken the control over the government and the Vampire Hunters must prevent that. The mod is aimed at being a complicated one with full of puzzles and a mod for minimum level 20 chars. As well as there will be very much mature content.

What's the backstory of Azura being the patron of the Vampire Hunters? She is goddess of Dawn and Dusk, not daylight, seems more like Meridia or one of the Nine Divines would be more interested in slaying the Vampires.

But I'm curious to hear how she is connected with them.

Hehe like the last 2 pics, wanzed to do something like that for some time, but lack of scripting knowledge is preventing that.

I like a lot the way how you plan to implement the Demo Torturum Krati into the politics, can't wait to see your progress on this, seems like this will be more like "kill a vamp here and there and then kill the strongest son of a gun and you're the grandmaster!" stuff.

Keep it up this way and this might be a really good mod!

Well i'm planning on releasing a beta version after i've finished the beginning stuff. So you can get a taste or give me feedback on making things creepier :)
The whole beta test will consist of the part where you will find the Lux salvator and joining them and that is a hella of a creepy thing that i'm planning for you future players of this mod :)

Ok people. I've almost finished with the stuff that is coming up on the beta release. I just need to do the starting quests and some bonus stuff that you will find to be useful when you play the vanilla game. It'll be my appreciasion to you who will download the beta version. :)

I like the idea of having a vampire clan trying to take over the government. Are they trying to accomplish their goals by manipulating House Telvanni or will they be hiding their true nature from the other houses?

more like a representative in every house including the imperial governmental presence in Morrowind. :)

Don't be turned-off by what might seem like a lack of interest.
Sometimes a mod doesn't get much excitement until people actually get to start playing it.
Also, as far as I know this is your first release, so people are not familiar with your work. But if you've worked hard on your mod, people will recognize that work when they play. :)

Hello there people. I know i promised a beta release soon but unfortunetly I was unable to work on the mod. You know school and all that. But now i'm back in business. So the beta release will be out here soon. :) I just wanted to write this to let you know that this project is not abandoned :)

Ok people i have some really really bad news :( My computer had to be reformatted and i couldn't save the data of the mod on another disc so with a heavy heart i must say that the project has been abandoned :(
