okay Bethesda made the game and Obsidian wrote the plot and changed to creatures , they should count themselves lucky they were given a another chance to fiddle with a game again . its a Bethesda game bottom line . oblivion with guns . or did Obsidian do that one too ?

Obsidian developed Fallout: New Vegas (that means they wrote the story, created the world, created the weapons, the monsters, the quests...) and all of its DLC.

Bethesda developed Fallout 3 and its DLC.

Bethesda Softworks did not

Bethesda Game Studios did.

That was irrelevant to the comment. He/she mentioned Bethesda. Not Softworks. Not Game Studios. You're being kinda pushy about the subject.

Also, and this is a serious question, what proof do you have that they had to keep it in the same style as Fallout 3? Do you have a developer interview or anything like that? All I know is they used many of the same items and the same game engine. Otherwise, it's (in my opinion) like comparing Baldur's Gate II to Planescape: Torment. The same engine, but fully different.
