Good news from the PS3 Mag on crime.

According to Playstation Magazine's June issue, in Skyrim if you "kill a guard from hold A the guards from hold B won't try to arrest you". This means that like in AC Brotherhood there's no "bounty" across all of Skyrim, just in the respective place you commit the crime. I LOVED reading this. I actually jumped up in my seat in the middle of IT class and everyone looked at me. What do you think?

I liked Oblivion's system better. But either could work for me.

I would like it if your bounty is really high then it should carry through out the map maybe a group trying to hunt you down. But thats only if you just killed lots people.

Why the tone? All I did was give you a link so you can share your thoughts and opinions on there.

what would be cool if over time if your bounty is severally high in hold A people from hold B would talk about a criminal in the certain part of skyrim, and in a couple of days word will be passed to this hold B that you are wanted.

whaaa? Psychic guards that instantly know you committed a crime on the other side of the province...no thanks. Region based bounties was one of the things I was hoping for. Why exactly do you prefer oblivion's system?

This should definitely be a part of it too. Guards from hold B should hear about you if your bounty is quite high in hold A. And if your bounty is high in several holds then all of them should hear about you. That would definitely help create a greater sense of an actual living world where things happen without everyone being completely oblivious.

Maybe, that depends if the bounty begins when a witness tells a guard or guard is a witness, and not placed once witnessed regardless. Of course what if you kill the guard that was told or witnessed the crime? I suppose you have to stop somewhere.
