GOOD NEWS! GOOD NEWS!

Im not sure if I should report this. I sure as hell was not expecting such a ridiculous confirmation that certainly does not merit a title in CAPS.

I am still not over the fact it is not included in the CE edition. Usually, it's the first thing they add there.
Don't know really why it is different this time. If I had to guess, I guess greed. To be able to sell it later
on (very soon). The only thing that would convince me otherwise, is if they make it available for download,
for free. I'll buy it though, even if reluctantly.

That's cool, but it should be included with the CE.

For Morrowind, it was part of the CE - but for Oblivion, they sold it separately through Direct Song. (It's still available here https://www.directsong.com/index.php#/shop/product/OB101)

I anticipate that they will do the same thing for Skyrim.

What? Of course you get it. All the mp3's are in the music folder when you unpack the BSA. To those who play on consoles.... SOL unless your tech savvy. But really you should be able to grab them too. Just install the game, access your HD from your PC and copy the BSA to your PC's hd, then extract them with OBMM or SRMM when it comes out.

PC gamers get it with the standard game edition. :hehe: :dance:

Ha, ha. We PC gamers get it with every edition.

No you don't.

You get the music from the game, but not on CD quality - game music is usually downsampled from their original form, which is the one you most likely will get on the OST CD.

@Dinocrush1997
Is there any chance that The OST will be available in north America?

@DCDeacon
Yes

Thoughts?

My thoughts? Your title is very misleading. This isn't a big deal to me. I couldn't care less. Please mention the actual topic next time in the subtitle atleast.

What there's not one in the CE!? Whatever I'll be getting the reg. PC retail version anyways but I think it's stupid that you have to get it separately.

Thoughts?

That it's as clear as mud. In what form will it be available? Will it be included with the games? Will it be available outside North America?

I really don't see what the big deal is. Even if it were never released here you would be able to easily download it from the interwebs.

Yay for the OST!

And I had to laugh at the line: ''And no, you can't have a cat as a companion. But it made me laugh''

WHAT?! I can't have my faithful furry pet accompany me in my questing?! I feel Lionhead should be sued for discrimination against cats!

Yeah, I'm joking. But it'd be funny as hell to see a cat as a companion, or to help you in some way.

Was anyone concerned it wouldn't be available in North America in some shape or form? We're one of the largest markets for that sort of thing anyway.

And everyone else gets it via Youtude when it gets uploaded so it isn't really a big deal.

If the asset archives are anything like Morrowind, Oblivion, or Fallout, we PC gamers need only delve into the \Data\Music folder to get at 'em. They won't be BSA'd or anything. :)

Alas, we can't exactly share them with others...
