Stonekeep? Come on now.

Get all the Fallouts (Yes, even Tactics. It's decent if you don't canonize it) , both Freespace games and Earthworm Jim 1 & 2. Must haves, really. An original gamesas fan, also known as Sol Invictus and Exitium. Currently running Hellforge, an original Diablo III community.

Since I see Chris from gamesas active on these shiny new forums, I thought I'd ask a question I've had ever since GOG's Beta went live. How did the deal go down with them? So far most of their games are gamesas titles. I assume they paid for them, but what are the specific details?

Hopefully they paid a lot, because I like it when my favorite mostly-dead company gets money to make cool stuff again.

Heh. Kingpin is everything but set in a "modern" setting.

a) I don't know any details. I've actually heard new stuff here that I didn't know about.
b) I wouldn't be able to say, even if I did know anything.

Hey, I hope it works out for us, too! ^_^

Well I'm not interested in platformers (Earthworm Jim, but otherwise I already own almost all of the gamesas games on there. One of the games that I've been very eager to play again is Stonekeep, which I first played on a 66mhz 486. I think that there is something up there for everyone.

Do all of the games on GOG have a 5.99 price point? That could be my cue to get both Fallouts.

Most of them do. Some have $9.99. But all Fallouts (1, 2 and Tactics) are $5.99. The Vault - Fallout Wiki * Fallout Online * Fallout IRC Channel * Fallout: New Vegas

There was a package deal where you buy one game, get one for free.
Got Fallout 1 and 2 for 6 bucks total. I love it.
My old copies are so trashed that i had to rebuy it sadly, but im glad i could get LEGIT versions.
However it is funny to look at Fallout 1 now, well the graphics atleast. At first you are all "WOAH bad graphics", then you remember when it came out and get into the game and forget about it.
Anyways, loving GOG.com and thanks gamesas for making your old titles available again. Image

What do you mean, bad graphics? It has good graphics. You can look at something and know what it is, there's no pixilation, and you can even see little details in the dying animation like rib cages and blinking.

You kids and your fancy graphics. With your HDR and dynamic shenanigans.

Sorry I run ultra high graphics in most games.
My rig has twin Geforce 7950 GX2's. So thats 4 GPU's and 2 Gigs of ram.
Not to mention alot of other top end gear.
Its bad in the sense of low graphics, not pixelated bad. Image

I'm just angry because I'm too cheap to buy a computer. And because I see idiots saying things like CoD 4 "is gay" because the graphics "svck dike compared to GTA4". I can write that off as idiocy, but some people just refuse to play old, great games because of graphics. I could understand some kid not playing Daggerfall, but Half-Life, Fallout, and such are fine.

i bought that fallout 1 2 and tactics DVD off amazon a few months back, otherwise I'd be all over this. Might go for Freespace 2 though, maybe even #1. Playing tactics currently, its a bit weird after playing Fallout 1 and 2, but i'll still play through it even if it takes forever to go through a single mission sometimes.
