A good place to start

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:28 am

Well, I have read a lot into the lore of Warcraft and particularly enjoyed it. I still have several books to read but I thought a change of pace would be nice. So if I wanted to get into Elder scrolls lore, where would be a good place to start or an interesting topic to grasp my interest?

Edit: So far I have simply been reading random books for rp reasons with my mage.

I found going to http://www.imperial-library.info/ and reading the timeliness rather useful to get a decent grasp on the history of Tamriel, and then the Pocket Guides too, though their a bit biased propoganda, its all still a good introduction.

defiantly start of with thehttp://www.imperial-library.info/pge3/, then the http://www.imperial-library.info/pge/ (taking into account that its extremely bias). The http://www.imperial-library.info/history/ is a good reference for history, however, it is lengthy and sometimes can get rather dense if you don't already have background knowledge. the http://www.imperial-library.info/races/ is a good article for basic information about the Tamrielic races, in case you don't already know that stuff. and, of course, the http://www.gamesas.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=15282. after that, I'd say figure out what interests you most and read books related to that subject.
