Scrap metal is in every inside location. Look in Tool Cabinets and Tool Boxes. Most of it is sitting in the open. Most utility rooms have a lot. You probably won't find more than 10 pieces in any one room. Some areas like vaults or sewers or large buildings will have several rooms with a lot of scrap metal. I can think of two but this is the General forum, not the Cheats, Hints and Spoilers Forum :whistling:

There is a tag you can use to conceal your spoilers. It's in the editing menu under Other Styles.

Spoilers aren't supposed to be in this forum anyway.

Okay.

Since the mods didn't move this they must not think it's important (neither do I) but what do I know.

I just ran across a pile of about 15 or 20 in

LadyCrimson is right - tin cans will work as well as other sources of junk metal. Those are far easier to find than scrap metal which you should keep for crafting.

Repcon rocket facility, Novac, and those marked / unmarked buildings around NV all have a bunch of tin cans, scrap metal and other metallic scrap.

That is because some of us want to enjoy the holidays. I will move this now.

And, you can use Tin Cans, Aerotech 3000 office park has a building with all that you need in it.
