Good things about skyrim.

Post » Sat Aug 20, 2011 8:16 pm

So.. i've been noticing a lot of negative comments about what skyrim is lacking... I understand that poeple have a right to there opinions.
BUT! I wanted to make a positive thread, something that will REALLY get us hyped about skyrim! :celebration: so in honor of how awesome-tastic this game will be im starting this thread to say only positive things about how skyrim is gonna rock.
please post at least one thing your looking forward too on skyrim. im thinking a lot of poeple who should be interested in this game come to this forum and see all these negative threads... so i think we should give em something cool to look at!
Whos with me?! Ill go first

Im really hyped about the Radiant Story idea, it just brings you more into the world and gets you out adventuring, so that you leave no stone unturned. xD

Everything about Skyrim is good in my opinion. People have a right to complain and criticize the game. It's not perfect, obviously. But it's always like this. Skyrim will win multiple GOTY awards and sell millions of copies. People on this forum will put 200+hours into it. Then TES VI is announced and the cycle starts over.

thanks for the great thread remark xD i know.. i love playing as a marksman character.... after my big ole barbarian ill probably do an archery class.

and true. but i just wanted to break the monotony.. theres so much negative but not enough positive xD
OH YEAH! and i was thinking they should go back to the past for the elder scrolls 6. like the ayleids... because they just have SOOO much backstory

Really looking forward to the different types of dungeons, caves and ruins. Also, just exploring in general. Great fun in itself, but even better when the threads pop up on here with people sharing the little nooks and weird finds they've come across. :)

Good about Skyrim? Now that I know that the races actually look unique and interesting, hell yes I'm positive. Beast legs? With a face like that I could care less about their legs. Yep. I said it.

The only thing I don't like is that I'm counting seconds until release... :(

The overall design: grittier and darker than Oblivion, more like Morrowind again!

You know it! I love the whole gritty feel. and im hoping for some more memorable characters this time around. other than that, i like how when you talk to someone its seamless now! Less immersion break xD

I like that another Elder Scrolls game is coming out. I played Morrowind on the XBox when I was a kid, that took, what seemed like forever to play but I felt accomplished when I had completed the main quest. I played Oblivion when I got to college and that svcked hundreds of hours making multiple characters.I'm most excited for the same reason I have been for 7 months at this point; that a new Elder Scrolls game is coming out. I know when Skyrim comes out I'll become a shut-in and spend several more hundreds of hours playing it too.

Im hoping they have given all towns the Skingard appeal. that is too say made it feel like a high-density population area. I look forward to that

If I had to list one thing...there's just so much...

But I'd say the features that make it easier to live a normal existence in the world are some of my personal favorites. Like jobs, marriage, hopefully more housing options, catching fish with your hands, hunting more than just deer, etc. Stuff that also make the world seem more alive.
