The armor actually looks like it has character in this game. This pleases me, as it would reduce my need to try to find good armor and clothing through mods.
And about the arachnophobia topic in this thread, I used to be arachnophobic... Then I learned that I'm bigger than they are, and thus much more of a threat to them than they are of me. In video games they never bothered me though, in fact I think they look amazing in Skyrim.
Mountains are also a big plus. I actually am on a snowboarding trip right now and seeing some real mountains (Not like the wimpy foothills of the Appalachians I have at home in Ohio) and I personally am looking forward to seeing Skyrim's mountains. They are always a fun adventure location when portrayed correctly. And to me, they never get old.
Dynamic snow: self exclamitory.
Advanced battle mechanics: This will definitely increase replay value. To me, TES have always been about the adventure. And with Oblivion and Morrowind, which were lacking in the combat mechanics, thats all they were really. The new fighting though looks as though it will add a brand new element to the game in its own right, and add a strong element along side my endless adventures.
The locations I see are exactly the sorts of locations I have wanted to visit when I heard Oblivion was coming out. Just look at how flavored they are!
Dragons: I have always been impressed by how carefully Bethesda has approached dragons in TES lore. It excites me to see how they are handled in this game.
The dragon shouts look like they were carefully considered, and I am loving what I am hearing about them so far.
I have a lot more, but I also have to return my snowboard and go out to dinner.
