my goodbye and farewell to TES

Post » Tue Sep 20, 2011 12:09 pm

the elderscrolls was a really good series and enjoyable RPG.
but after seeing what they did in oblivion and what i have seen and heard about skyrim all i can conclude is that
elderscrolls simply is no longer elderscrolls ...
so i am saying my farewells and goodbyes

:EDIT: im not saying i will be leaving, i am saying the elderscrolls series as a whole is done and THEY are the ones leaving ... not me.

By the way, I'm not buying it. When people do this they are just looking for attention. We'll hear from him again.

I find it funny that you don't seem to like Skyrim and yet your avatar is of one of Skyrim's Dunmer. Sorry you feel that way, but I guess not everyone can be satisfied. Also, hello/goodbye threads aren't allowed.

I'm with you man.

I think that the series jumped the shark as soon as they released the games to the public instead of just hand-tailoring them for all the people who played Daggerfall.

Oh no, not a goodbye thread.

You'll buy it. We all know you will. Just the fact that you feel like you need to profess that you're leaving is a sure sign that your will isn't strong enough to avoid buying it.

Seasoned Daggerfall veteran looking forward to Skyrim, and think it has potential to be the best in the series (or at least just a bit behind Daggerfall).

3D? Bah, games were ruined when they started including graphics into text adventure games.

I agree with everything DyvethinFir said! Down with Skyrim! How dare it be different than Morrowind!

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to build a time machine to go back to 2002 and re-experience the glorious wonder of the ever-so-flawless Morrowind.
