Goodsprings Convention

Representative Marcus - Mayor of Jacobstown and Red Rock

Yes, that would definitely benefit Jacobstown, when will the Caravan Group get off the ground? Jacobstown can provide funds to help them get started if necessary.

I'm glad to hear all of them are benefiting from the cure, and yes, I think it would be best if Black Mountain helped to clean up the waste, with you being closer to the waste site and all.

*Marcus sits back and listens to everyone else speak for a while, preparing his big statement*

Eh-hem. I have a proposal to make. There is a large unoccupied area of land north of Mt. Charleston, and with all of the abandoned farms and farmland sitting up there, I was planning to have Jacobstown and Red Rock settlers occupy the area and start a few farms. Our Bighorners need more grazing land, and we would also benefit from growing several different crops such as maize, pinto beans, honey mesquite pods, et cetera. This would improve trade for Jacobstown and also provide the Mojave with a larger supply of Mojave-grown food.

Does anyone have any problems with this idea?

OOC: The new map looks great :smile:

OOC: If you check the map, Jacobstown has quite a bit of land more than just Mt. Charleston and Red Rock.

Also, it seems as if people ignored my request for our flag. No big deal, just go up to one of my earlier posts and read it please. It's post #20.

Ambassador David Draiman-Robert Edwin House

Good... Good...

Now... I need a permanent contract with one of the caravans here in the Mojave to ship these weapons to Novac and possibly Goodsprings.

House would obviously pay for this, by the way.

Perhaps the best bet would be to just have a group of Novac's soldiers with a local caravan meet House, take the weapons and head back to Novac. Getting third parties involved makes things complicated.

EDIT: OOC: I have a great idea. Because House is from the old world, and that's what he is somewhat trying to bring back, we could take the old world flag and put the six stars on it ,seven most likely if we get the boomers to join, (like the symbol that you posted) instead of the thirteen for the commonwealths before the great war.

That is your land friend, nobody has a problem with it.

However I would like to offer any protection needed, we could help build a wall or make a base to make sure nothing attack those farms.

The borders of the Mojave are the most unsafe areas, as I know all to well, but if you do not see it as a problem then that's fine.

OOC: Kind of, except that his flag is the one of the commonwealth, with 13 stars.

This one will have six, or seven if we get a Boomers representative.

Sebor, I saw your post. What I'm thinking is that we can place that logo on the old world flag instead of the 13 stars for the commonwealth, cause House is trying to bring america back, economy, culture and all.

Ooc: I noticed you edited the post; I had a much bolder and threating opening statement but have removed it as house is no longer egging on the BOS. The v-bird plans was rejected harshly as well.

Advisor stone.

@House

The brotherhood has no interest in the Mojave; I only wish to know if any of my brothers were left alive. Once our merging with the NCR is complete we shall be receiving our own factory were we can build our own energy weapons and perhaps our own version of power armour in the future.

As part of our merging the NCR brotherhood have stopped confiscating Low grade energy weapons such as laser & plasma rifles however we are still confiscating weapons capable of mass destruction. Such as Helios one, you may not be aware but that plant is in fact a weapon, thankfully the courier did not activate it and the trigger device was hidden.

Major Wilson.

“Could we also some copies of those books? The OSi will be interested in them.” Wilson added on.

@Novac/House

Yes we do indeed have plans and the RAF (republic air force) has managed to build several Vertibirds. However I cannot simply give you plans, congress would never allow, we need something for it.

Hmm… how about the Secuirtion blueprints or do you have something else to offer?

@Jacobstown

several NCR mutants wish to retire in jacobtowns so that they can be with their fellow mutants, is that okay with you?

OCC: My fault, missed your post.

OOC: No problem. I just wanted to clear up everything before there would be a vote on either, because I think Sebor has a great idea with his star logo.

Ambassador David Draiman-Robert Edwin House

@Novac: Have your men meet Victor in front of the Lucky 38 when you return to Novac from this convention. He will have the boxes and packages ready to go by the time your men reach him. It might take several trips to transfer all the weapons, mind you.

The United Mojave Army is equipped enough to be truly great and a good protective Police Force as well, and it would be even better if we could receive more aid. Black Mountain, Jacobstown, could you send any troops to aid in this army, or provide field aid such as an army doctor, (et cetera) ?

@NCR: *Laughs so hard that he almost falls out of his seat*. Securitron Plans? Man, I've heard some whoppers in my time but this one might top them all.

Let me make this simple.

No.

Regardless, I'm not asking for the NCR's plans. Novac could possibly improvise reinforcements into the crashed vertibird. It might take a while of trial-and-error, but hey! It's not like we have the Legion to deal with anymore, so we have lots of time to research and eventually rebuild the bird.

EDIT: Perhaps, in time, I will be able to send a copy to the NCR, but for now they are being used to educate the Mojave.

I am the one that wants the plans, not House.

We could trade you some of the energy weapons we are recieving along with taking 35% off of all Novac based caravans trading with the NCR.

As House said we will be able to make this one work and some day make many more, you're just delaying us.

And I hope the Brotherhood's 'authority' over dangerous weaponry stays outside of the Mojave, I have much distrust towards them considering they raided several of my caravans. When I was younger I worked as a caravan guard, one time we ran into a Brotherhood Paladin. I was the only one to leave with my life and that was just because I passed out from loss of blood, appearing to be dead.

OOC: No problem. I just wanted to clear up everything before there would be a vote on either, because I think Sebor has a great idea with his star logo. We're going with his flag.

OOC: If you check the map, Jacobstown has quite a bit of land more than just Mt. Charleston and Red Rock.

Thank you friend, we will set up farms as soon as I return to Jacobstown.

Your offer is generous, but we have enough Mutants and Nightkin who are willing to protect the farms. However, what we do need is more weapons. At the moment we don't have enough weapons and ammunition to arm the number of guards necessary to defend the new farmland. If you are willing to make a deal, perhaps we could make a trade? We could give the State of Cottonwood discounted prices on the food produced at the new farms in exchange for any weapons or ammunition you can offer.

@NCR

Yes, that would be fine. Anyone is welcome at Jacobstown unless they intend to start trouble.

And the Brotherhood has no authority in the Mojave, they cannot simply confiscate Helios One because it could be used as a weapon, they're more likely to misuse it than we are! Look at their history!

ooc: the brotherhood have not confiscated Helio one, just used it as an example of a weapon of MD that would be confiscated if it was running as a weapon. the Bos even stated it was not.

@Primm: This is an acceptable idea Ambassador Brown. I will still have Nightkin working in the quarry as administrative and foreman positions and they will be responsible for all handling of explosives.

*Glares momentarily at Major Wilson*
We will not have another Powder Ganger incident, prisoners will learn to behave when working in Quarry Junction.

@House: With the cure and our deal with Primm, more Nightkin are free to defend Black Mountain and the Mojave in general. I will be able to send a squad of Nightkin that would be best used as an Infiltration/Assault team. If needed all Nightkin in Black Mountain will fight to protect the Mojave, but some still do not trust humans enough to be working side by side with them.

Excellent. They will be well equipped, I assure you.

And your ideas behind the rest of your Nightkin are perfectly reasonable. You, and the rest of your Nightkin have already been more help than was expected to the rest of the Mojave.

OOC: There's actually a lot to do. There isn't much for the NCR, at the moment, however.

Representative Marcus

The problem with energy weapons is that most of my Mutants are trained with heavy weapons-- mini-guns, incinerators, missile launchers, and heavier melee weapons. I'm not sure that any of them would feel comfortable using energy weapons, except for flamers, incinerators, and plasma casters that is. If House has any of those, I'll take them.

I've thinking about your offer with the walls,and I've decided that it would probably be a good idea, with all of the potential threats that could come from beyond Mojave borders. Your offer to help us build the wall is very generous, is there anything you want in return? We can offer cheaper Bighorn meat for Cottonwood as well as cheaper medical supplies from our hospital/research building in Red Rock if you're interested.

*Marcus turns to Ambassador Lobotomite *

Jacobstown is going to need a lot of cement from Quarry Junction in order to build our new wall, how much do you charge per cubic foot of concrete? We will probably need somewhere around 400 cubic feet, maybe more, to build this wall properly.

OOC: Quarry Junction does produce concrete, right?

We can send you weaponry, all we would like in return is to be able to set up a caravan hub in Bonnie Springs so that I can set up caravans to deliver your food and medicine specifically. Instead of having to wait for a Goodsprings or NCR caravan to show up these are yours and will show up and go out when you tell them too. All I want of that is 30% of the profits.

And we have set up a hospital-research center hybrid in the REPCONN facility, if you could ask the Followers to send a handful of people there to help out then that would be great. Sending medicine would also do no harm.

For the amount of cement your asking for we would normally charge 4000 caps, but we are willing to give you a 75% discount for helping Black Mountain. Its the least we can do.
