Was caught pickpocketing in Diamond City and now the whole town is trying to kill me. Do i have to wait a certain amount of time before they will stop or is there a certain action i need to do (e.g. pay a bounty like in Skyrim).

Well, you can draw and then holster your weapon to see if it will pacify them. Otherwise you'll need to travel away from the city, wait 3 days and they hopefully will not be hostile once the cell refreshes.

Many years ago, when I was in the Army, I would announce, "Time to get stupid." just before we did something dangerous. In game, it is only dangerous if you don't save first.

LOL I'm imagining you running scared.

Haven't tried pickpocketing yet but this system of getting caught should have been more elaborated this time, maybe developing a mini-game for it?
