:sadvaultboy: Not cool.

OT: Hope you're not in a up-market job.

Awesome OP is awesome and so is the tattoo! It looks really good! I admit, I am jealous. :P I wish I had a professional tattoo artist gamer buddy who hands out freebies, I want a Assassin's Creed logo tattoo but yeah, saving goes slow.

You know what I think is funny? Some girls would probably think you were talking about something that really happened.

Exactly :P Which btw only goes to show how ridiculously awesome and deep TES lore really is

EDIT: Nice tattoo btw. Looks good and the fact that you got it for free is pretty cool :P

It's hard to convey tone through text, one of the reasons I don't do Internet sarcasm...

Very well done tattoo! And I agree with some of the other posters that the image is cool/unique enough that it would still work without the TES reference. (and it's nothing like having Marlboro tattooed on your forehead..whoever said that)
And I'm a girl, and myself and most of my female friends would agree that a tasteful videogame reference is a nice combination of the nerdy and the badass. Sweet tattoo.

Looks great! Better than the one I got on my forearm lol! I'd consider getting that inked on somewhere. Btw, listen to the guys talking about a tattoo's influence in the workplace. You may not like it and think someone cares about your rebellion, but in the end, a poorly chosen location for your tat will close some doors for ya. Not all, but some. I'm a courier so I'm in and out of professional environments. Mostly, my clients don't care but my stick in the [censored] company pays the rent so meh.....heck, they wont even let me grow a beard pfft. Anyways, I'm thinking that would look good on my shoulder lol! Thumbs up, OP.

The vast majority of employers will not hire people with visible tattoos (and piercings) if they have any public interaction at all. The armed forces, the police and I would imagine any modelling agencies have strict policies on tattoos. I was pointing out that the persons claim was false and im right in doing so.

Also the generalization that a "nice" job requires sleeves is pretty ignorant.

Good sir, not everybody live in the U.S.
Where I come from, it is considered qute ignorant not to hire someone because of his tattoos.
I myself am planning on adding some ink to my body.

An elderscrolls tattoo? I can imagine you're wife, girlfriend, deceased family member or other memorable thing but a Skyrim tattoo? Excuse me but I think you are a little to hyped to a unhealthy degree.

Tattoos don't hinder you from functioning in society anymore. Pretty small deal in any environment I've been in, considering every housewife has a rose on her foot or a butterfly on her chest anymore. Another generation or so, and there'll be no one left who even bats an eye. I'd consider it as well, considering how much I loved Daggerfall during my formative years.

To the OP:

It looks good. I like the worn look of it.

Not that body markings have been used in society for all known human history.

/sarcasm.

I get what you mean though.

Nice tat! And ignore all these nay-sayers; that tattoo is definitely an 'elder scrolls' tattoo in general. The akatosh symbol is no-way Skyrim exclusive.

Getting a tattoo of something that can be temporary is a mistake.

It's an elder scrolls tattoo, and nobody will know that unless they have played the games.

And its not like TES is going to break up with him.

It's not a Skyrim tattoo, it's an Elder Scrolls tattoo. That dragon logo was in past games and is the logo of the Empire. For anyone who doesn't know the Elder Scrolls, it'll just look like a unique dragon tattoo.

It looks good, OP! I've been considering getting the https://sites.google.com/site/tesfanunion/dwemer-thing3.jpg tattoo'd somewhere on my body. Just a cool looking scarab for those who don't know what it's from, and it's the symbol of the ultimate god of Mundus for those familiar with The Elder Scrolls. Win-win.
