Got an Elder Scrolls tattoo!

Post » Mon Jul 11, 2011 9:40 pm

Well i'm getting really pumped for skyrim. As a tribute I got the symbol for Akatosh tattooed on my forearm! I had him play around with the design a little bit to make it look more worn and different shading. Let me know what you guys think, Artist was a gamer so i got it for free

What if Skyrim by some freak chance actually svcks , and they lied and its actually an exact remake of that svcky cousin of Elder Scrolls "Two worlds" except with Nintendo 64 grade graphics? :P

Well , we all know thats not gonna happen

Not the dumbest thing I've ever seen someone get a tatoo of , at least if people don't know what it is then they dont know what it is. At least he didn't get "ELDER SCROLLS" the words literally tattooed across his forehead or something

*Facepalm*

Really? Its just a bloody tattoo, its one of those "Oh, I remember back in the days when we all nerded TES! Good times, I even got this tatoo here from back then when Skyrim was going to be released!"-things. Its not a bloody death sentence!

Also, nice tattoo. :)

Well even if Skyrim "svcks" Its the symbol of Akatosh the dragon god of time, its on all of the empires coins as well, nice simple design, nothing i would regret, drew it on at least once a week for a few months to see how the idea felt :) thanks for the comments guys

Tattoos don't hinder you from functioning in society anymore. Pretty small deal in any environment I've been in, considering every housewife has a rose on her foot or a butterfly on her chest anymore. Another generation or so, and there'll be no one left who even bats an eye. I'd consider it as well, considering how much I loved Daggerfall during my formative years.

To the OP:

It looks good. I like the worn look of it.

See when your with her and she says "Cool tattoo, What's it from?" You say, "Thanks, It's the symbol of an ancient god." Then that's pretty much it....... Super awkward right?

Edit: Damn RevolverZarriel beat me to it.

Just jumping in to point out that this is false. Many jobs require no tattoos.

If you're awesome enough to get that tattoo, you're awesome enough to not have to worry about such concerns.

If she asks about the tattoo i could say i was branded by an ancient god for powers in the sack, she can leave now or follow the legend. lol

What job?

If it is a nice job. Why aren't you wearing sleeves?

If it's a job where wearing no sleeves is okay. Why do they care?

I have a full body tatttoo that is pretty much permanent woad, no one ever sees it.

Got a BS in business management, skyrim tattoo is the least of their worries :) they gotta love the Zombie apocalypse sleeve, you just have to cut it off at a point where no one can tell while at office

Only if they are visible, if you can easily hide the tattoo they are no issue... with it being on the forearm though that would stop him doing a few things - like joining the police :P

Great tattoo, really nice weathered look to it OP.
