So, I've got a giant ice spike in my head.

Okay so, here's the dealio;

I have a giant ice spike in my head/body that has been hanging around for the past 4 RL days. Now I wouldn't be too worried about it if I only played for an hour a day. But to be honest, I play for quite some time so I'm starting to worry that it's going to be there, like....forever.

I also wouldn't be so worried if it weren't for the fact that the ice spike is so big and in such a position that it's in my line of sight when it comes to aiming. GAH. I'm not that good of an aimer as it is!

Has anyone else had this sort of problem? I would be happy with just an arrow...even if it were to the knee ):

I'm a giant walking icicle! I should at least get some frost resistance or something!

When you get shot by another one it should go away. It's a glitch just like the arrows that stay in you.

You on PC?

Use the console to switch your six, and then switch back.

Don't do that console thing, it could screw up your stats. Just get hit by another projectile. And I thought that the patch was supposed to fix that issue?

Try turning into a werewolf and see if it's still there when you turn back to normal

Thankyou so much for your help, guys. However, I've been hit by multiple projectiles since developing my...condition?

Any other ideas as to how I can get rid of it? I'm on 360 if that helps.

maybe just accept the fact that u have a growth.

unlike every other guard in whiterun, u did not stop being an adventurer when u got shot with a narrow in the knee.

UR A SURVIVOR.

But...I don't want to be a werewolf D: lmao.

Though if push comes to shove, it might have to be the case. What're the precautions you have to take when becoming a werewolf? Or is it something like, you can turn once a day?

~ sixchange sixchange

No stat loss like you would with the whole character change menu, and it will clear up arrows/ice spikes that won't disappear.

Yes, yes. Maybe it's just a really big, really cold growth.

Common in wood elves, yes?

Have you patched? The 1.2 patch was supposed to fix permanent projectile issues, even if it introduces other bugs of its own. You'll have to make a decision between backward flying dragons or an ice spike in your face :P

And people complain there aren't enough choices to make in the game!

^^Hilarious!

I had the same problem. Two giant ice spikes in my chest. They were stuck there for about 3 or 4 in-game days. I attacked some bandits who shot arrows at me and the spikes disappeared.
