1.2 got me laughing

Lastest rumor is that the new patch negated Magic Ress making spells(including Dragon Breath) do massive damage to the player. All you people complaining about how easy Dragons are are in for a rude awakening next time you fast travel. hahaha Thank you Beth best bug ever!!! this is provided it is true.

Could you elaborate on that?

This sentence makes absolutely no sense in my mind, what was negated, how was it negated and how does negating something make something else do massive damage?

go to the ps3 tech form.

the are saying that the new patch made there Resistance 0% like Resist Frost, Fire, ect.

drinking a frost resist potion would then do nothing

I rarely use negations and if I do its only like 20% from potions and I make Dragons look like chickens when I cut them down.

Oh, I never use resist stuff anyway.

Wards work perfectly fine for shielding me from any magic damage a dragon could do.

Yep, this thread in the PS3 forum: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1295737-game-no-longer-recognizes-my-magic-resistance-after-patch/

Many, many users are reporting that the 1.2 patch breaks all magical resistances to weapons/armour/etc.

Also, Flame Atronarchs (which are 100% resistant to fire) can be killed now by firebolts. Same for Frost Atronarchs with frost bolts.

GStaff has said in that thread that they are investigating the issue.

Jeepers, how can I deactivate downloads on Steam? I don't want this buggy patch?

edit: Found it. You can select it via properties for each game. :)

Actually since the OP was attempting to make fun of people who complained about dragons being easy, assuming that this was due to stacking resistances, what they're saying makes a lot of sense.

None of this changes the fact that a properly smithed and enchanted weapon will still one-shot dragons.

Lol, first I stopped playing my paladin because she always had arrows stuck to her face, which made it look silly. Now she's binned because she's utterly useless.

I never found dragons easy, now with no resistances it'll be even harder. Least I had some with the nightingale chest.

Haha yea im 100% melee and I just run in head 1st with Flames covering me and I lose litte to no health and then I use shouts to keep it grounded and attack its side/body and stay away from the head UNLESS im doing lots of damage on head in which i'll continue to hit the head and still take next to no damage.

they get burnt just fine?

or they get close enough? without any base resist. the dragons breath attacks will be doing base damage. there are horror stories in the ps3 section about level 50's with full deadric getting one shot
