And really all I wanted was my pistol animation to work on Gods and Monsters. But no. I can't have that. I don't know why, but a working pistol animation in one level of SP is beyond Crytek's abilities. Frankly I don't even know why they're bothering to try to 'patch' the swiss cheesed MP component. It needs another six months of dev time, not 'patches'. FFS.
