Got my pre-order today : Crysis

(Not sure if this is the right forum

)

I got my pre order today. (Really early? i know.) Order it in sweden on "Elgiganten".

But im not sure i can install it yet or anything like that.
The multiplayer part i know i cant play untill the release date. So the question: Can i install it or do i have to wait to the release date??

Anyone from cryteck plz answer i want to know.

well the system req on the box is the same as the other on FAQ.

And i dont know about the sandbox mode. I think i need to install the game to see that.

Erm, the sandbox editor should have a separate, independent installer in a folder on the disk, going by Sandbox 2. Also, gl.

Well no sandbox in the dvd. But it may be in the DLC menu (read about it (the DLC menu) in the manual.). who knows?

Rumor about internet while installing is false.
And its a damn slow install -_-

Well no sandbox in the dvd.
O_O I don't like the sound of that... :/
It better be on that DLC menu, or wherever. It HAS TO be somewhere.

Saw DX10 in the directx folder but no DX11 yet.
The rumor about DX11 might be true. Will see more later when done.

Got a message when i enter the cd key. It wont work untill 2011-03-22 01:00 (GTM+1 i think on this time)

So i cant say anything untill then.

Can try but i dont think the programmers are so stupid to let it check the computer time instead on the server time.

It doesn't matter, it connects to an online server to verification

I'm worried about the Sandbox and DX11

AND! just a few days left and NOTHING has come from Crytek....a shame!!!

Relax guys, Sanbox might be installed along with the game itself... Slim chance I know, but stuff like that doesn't always have to have a seperate installation.

As for OP, don't worry you won't get banned or anything even if you could add the key. Lots of games also have online connection required wich might be active before the release date, sometimes people can play the single player before that, it's just the MP that will be locked down. But it's never bannable or anything.

Can you look if there is a file in a directory in the installer folder which is called 'Crysis2DedicatedServer.exe'?
If possible, maybe you can create a screenshot and upload it to anywhere so we can see the folder structure.

He looked in every folder, the SB3 hasn't got installed
