I'm up to level 28 or so, and have several of my skills well above 75. I have several pieces of ebony armor that I have been saving until I have the skills to put really good enchantments on them.

My understanding, was that if you can cast a spell, you should be able to use that spell as an enchantment. My question is, now that I can cast pack mule, why can't I enchant an item with feather higher than 50? Does some other skill like mysticism or something need to increase?

Now that I'm able to comfortably cast pack mule, I'm debating if I still need it as an enchantment, but I'm curious why I'm so limited?

My other issue, is that I have several full sets of ebony armor, EXCEPT for gauntlets. In 100 hours of game play, I've yet to find a single pair in the wild, and I'm still not seeing ANY ebony gear for sale, except the occasional arrow!

Is that normal at this level?

Overall, it seems like the stuff I can buy is WAY behind what I am finding!

I'm on PC, so I could always use the console, but I prefer to keep my achievements "real".
