Got a refund.

I think 2 weeks is more than patient enough to wait for a working game. but I still am unable to log in after two weeks of attempting fix after fix. Tried making a gamespy account... incorrect login details. Tried changing mycrsis account and making a new one.... incorrect login details.

I have given this game enough chances.

Now I am done.

Perhaps you should study, JUST enough of the internet to know the difference between a connectivity issue, and a login server issue which is not client side. But expecting even a modicum of intelligence from someone like you, is roughly the equivalent to expecting an chimpanzee to attend violin lessons.

Perhaps you simply have not seen the 1100 reply post of users with the same issue? Or perhaps you are a moron to such a degree that your vision filters out helpful information.

In any case, I have forgotten more about computing in a day, then you will more than likely learn in a lifetime.

I linked Steam to the page on the forum with the hundreds of users experiencing the same issue, and then I copy and pasted my chat log with EA, which shows that they themselves have no idea on a workaround. After a few days they decided to issue me a refund.
