So races won't change, still the same ten? Altmer (a.k.a. High Elves) Argonian Bosmer (a.k.a. Wood Elves) Breton Dunmer (a.k.a. Dark Elves) Imperial Khajiit Nord Orc (a.k.a. Orsimer, Pariah Folk, or Corrupted Elves) Redguard
In the tavern it looks like the guy in the background is a little more heavy than the PC, also the guy walking through the streets with the leopard/puma... I think they all have realistically sized bodies and different ones!!! So maybe, body size is adjustable...
"Facial and body features are entirely customizable"
@sleign what do you mean dialogue pops up near enemies?
When you walk near an enemy that will start a conversation, they will start talking to you as they would in real life and you will converse with them while they continue to do whatever from a far. It just means the npc won't run up to you and start the zoom in chat like in Oblivion, now they just start dynamic, realistic chat from afar and do all their emotes like gestures and pacing back and forth or whatever they do.

Wouldn't mind Though I do wanna play as a Falmer
Yeah that was a complete idiotic moment of mine... There have always been 10 races, but I was thinking 8 so I was like they added two races??!?!?!?
-A variation of level scaling. -Dynamic Shadows -Overhauled Combat-system -Improved Faces/Improved Models Example: Faces have been dramatically overhauled. Characters now exhibit more emotion show of distinctions between different races and just plain looks better. -Radiant AI -Updated Engine Snow falls dynamically (not as a basic texture on the ground) Trees and branches move independently with the wind Water flows -Randomly generated quests. -Beards -You can't run backwards as fast as you do forward. -10 races to choose from -confirmed creatures: zombies, skeletons, trolls, giants, ice wraiths, giant spiders, dragons, wolves, horses Elk, mammoth, saber-toothed cats -presumeably open cities (as dragons can attack) -Hud-free first-person view and improved third-person perspective -very unique landscapes! Also unique dungeons! In other words, lots of uniqueness! -Character creation improved, body features customizable
What I'm on the fence about:
Spoiler
-2-handed weapons and duel wielding confirmed. -Finishing moves, unique to each weapon and enemy you fight. -Kids -The game takes place 2 centuries after Oblivion -Sprint is added ! - Dialog will pop up when you approach an enemy - cooking/farming/mining/woodcutting/blacksmithing
What I dislike:
Spoiler
-18 skills. -Perk picking at every level-up -5 Magic Schools Destruction Alteration Conjuration Restoration Illusion. (Alchemy Enchant (now added) are not magic schools (?) )
Unfortunately, what I dislike has a much heavier impact on what I think of the game than what I like. I mean, why do they feel they have to cut even more skills out of the game (what was wrong with Mysticism or Alchemy?). Or introduce what I'm sure are going to be either horribly useless or horribly OP'd perks per level (like Fallout 3).
Overall, I'm sort of disappointed for right now, but who knows? Maybe some footage from E3 will change my mind and make me absolutely want this game.
They didn't cut alchemy; it's just not a school of magic. Also I doubt the perks will be stupid or overpowered; they will probably be modified versions of the best perks from Oblivion and the two new Fallout games.
Personally I'm very stoked for this game based on the info that's out there so far.

You'd think that maybe the Dwemer would make a return with the return of another ancient race, the dragons. Oh well, maybe we will have living Dwemer folk in a future game but as an enemy, not a race to play hehe.
Hmmmm...so this is something for a thief/stealth character?
Yeah but it is useful for a mage to open distance between themselves and the enemy or if your a touch mage (like me), close the distance. But as I said earlier, I believe that the Dragon shouts are only usable when your in combat with Dragons. The magazine claims that you will have 1 on 1 fights with dragons often and that you will have a great power to be able to combat the mighty dragons so I am assuming that that power is the Dragonshouts.

Oi, you'd have to travel all the way to the Corprusarium for that.
Is the one pic with destruction highlighted and some other skills listed is that a pic of the menu or character creation? Destruction is highlighted and there's also alchemy, enchanting, and others listed. I'm also confused about enchanting. So now anyone can enchant whenever you want instead of having to be a member of the mages guild and be at an altar?
Is there some info on body types? Read something here, but I can't find anything in the article. I especially want to know that because the main character on the screens looks like Conan, and there have to be options!
I've been wondering if this means that some paths may become impassable as times during the game due to heavy snowfall. I don't mean main-quest related, but just randomly. It would be kinda cool. I also wonder how NPC's, enemies, and the player will be affected by the snow, as in movement and stats. Perhaps there will be a limit to how high the snow can get.
Snow cannot stop the will of men. It never has, and never will. It can only stop a car.
Almost every single thing surprised me and now I have high hopes for this game. Very little that disappointed me.
This, the only thing I'm dissapointed about is Oblivion style fast travel, possibly the level scaling (haven't heard any specifics, so who knows?), and maybe quest arrows if they're in the game. I really excited for this game right now.
