Got the Magazine III

Is there some info on body types? Read something here, but I can't find anything in the article. I especially want to know that because the main character on the screens looks like Conan, and there have to be options!

The screenshot in the inn, with the attractive young lady, also features and fat'ish innkeeper :). Also in the picture where a person is falling and blood is visible in the air, there is a note about body customization

This, the only thing I'm dissapointed about is Oblivion style fast travel, possibly the level scaling (haven't heard any specifics, so who knows?), and maybe quest arrows if they're in the game. I really excited for this game right now.

I don't think fast travel was mentioned anywhere in the article?

The game world is huge, everything withing the massive draw distance is traversable.
the 5 major cities are GIANTS. big big big.
and this game has more beauty than i expected...its fantastic, and stylized in a dark fantasy way. like diablo or conan.
and each of the regions in the game are unique and within each region are varying landscapes.

I'm also confused about enchanting. So now anyone can enchant whenever you want instead of having to be a member of the mages guild and be at an altar?

Since Enchanting is a skill, it shouldn't require a guild to be able to practice it. So yeah, you'll enchant on your own.

Just in case you people missed it-
"Water flows in swift currents, imparting a sense of energy and life to the world" in the "A New Land" section.

I don't think we will get video footage until e3.

I dont think so, Todd said we should expect a lot of info coming fast and GI has the whole Skyrim hub thing, so I think the latest will see actual video is at GDC, I expect much sooner then that though.

I'd assume that your character

1. breathes harder when low on fatigue...
2. screams when low on health + blood splatters on screen...
3. gets a blurry view when low on mana

Oh god i hope not for 3, that would be just be plain annoying.

I'm worried about the dragonshouts. Its obviously going to be something obtained during the main quest but what if you ignore the main quest? The article mentions that dragons will be a common enemy, so if you want to explore and ignore the main quest will we be screwed if we stumble across a dragon?

Is the one pic with destruction highlighted and some other skills listed is that a pic of the menu or character creation? Destruction is highlighted and there's also alchemy, enchanting, and others listed. I'm also confused about enchanting. So now anyone can enchant whenever you want instead of having to be a member of the mages guild and be at an altar?

It appears to be of the journal menu. I assume the Enchanting skill will work like it did in Morrowind where you could enchant your own items whenever, and if I recall correctly your ability to recharge enchanted items with soul gems depended on your Enchant skill.

Is there some info on body types? Read something here, but I can't find anything in the article. I especially want to know that because the main character on the screens looks like Conan, and there have to be options!

"Facial and body features are entirely customizable."

Quoted from the picture at the bottom of page 51. If body features are customizable, I would assume at the very least that means you will be able to change body types.

I'm not sure what to think about Skyrim being HUD-less. How do you quickly check your health, weapon condition, etc. in the midst of battle??

Aaaah, missed that one. Confused about the terminology : it means there are no health / fatigue bar on the screen ?

I wouldn't mind it.

-Combat: The combat system has once again been overhauled. Now you may choose what you place in each hand, whether it be a sword and shield, dagger and sword, two swords or even a weapon in one hand and a spell in another. Assaulting with your shield is now apart of melee combat, being able to shield bash them to stagger them to give yourself an advantage in combat.

Dual shields??? Please say yes. Lol that'd be UBER!

Mmh, maybe your arms start shaking or something like that, there would be alot of possibilities, or the player character starts praying some verses or something...

What do you think of the other two suggests? As for weapons, I don't think it is necessary...

Beth will hopefully have a demo showcased at e3. It should be one of the big games this year at the event. I think that's when the game will really be blown open so I'm not expecting video until then. Game informer already confirmed that the hub will contain NO video unfortunately.

No we will get it b4 as that would be right on the very heels of release of the game.

Well you asked a question, then answered it and then you made a question about your self-answered question. The main thing to drag from your statement/questions is that it isn't obvious that you get the shouts from the main quest line, you just don't know so you can't very well know if you will be screwed if you run into a dragon until you know how you get dragonshouts.

Oh, well thanks for telling me that :) but I still think they'll show something by GDC, but I agree come E3 time we'll probably seeing a lot.
