What I like:
Spoiler
-A variation of level scaling.
-Dynamic Shadows
-Overhauled Combat-system
-Improved Faces/Improved Models Example: Faces have been dramatically overhauled. Characters now exhibit more emotion show of distinctions between different races and just plain looks better.
-Radiant AI
-Updated Engine Snow falls dynamically (not as a basic texture on the ground)
Trees and branches move independently with the wind
Water flows
-Randomly generated quests.
-Beards
-You can't run backwards as fast as you do forward.
-10 races to choose from
-confirmed creatures: zombies, skeletons, trolls, giants, ice wraiths, giant spiders, dragons, wolves, horses Elk, mammoth, saber-toothed cats
-presumeably open cities (as dragons can attack)
-Hud-free first-person view and improved third-person perspective
-very unique landscapes! Also unique dungeons! In other words, lots of uniqueness!
-Character creation improved, body features customizable

What I'm on the fence about:
Spoiler
-2-handed weapons and duel wielding confirmed.
-Finishing moves, unique to each weapon and enemy you fight.
-Kids
-The game takes place 2 centuries after Oblivion
-Sprint is added !
- Dialog will pop up when you approach an enemy
- cooking/farming/mining/woodcutting/blacksmithing

What I dislike:
Spoiler
-18 skills.
-Perk picking at every level-up
-5 Magic Schools Destruction Alteration Conjuration Restoration Illusion. (Alchemy Enchant (now added) are not magic schools (?) )

Unfortunately, what I dislike has a much heavier impact on what I think of the game than what I like. I mean, why do they feel they have to cut even more skills out of the game (what was wrong with Mysticism or Alchemy?). Or introduce what I'm sure are going to be either horribly useless or horribly OP'd perks per level (like Fallout 3).

Overall, I'm sort of disappointed for right now, but who knows? Maybe some footage from E3 will change my mind and make me absolutely want this game.

It is just an assumption... Judging by the screens and how wolves und ice trolls look, I'd say there is a pretty good chance for werewolves!

This poses a question debated before - of time-limited quests. That very example was used. I mean, you must save the brat, can't wait three months to get around it, right.

I do wonder if that means there will be randomised NPCs. It would be a bit weird if in one playthrough someone had a child, but in the next they didn't.

Hopefully the smaller towns will be more varied and interesting, like Morrowind's. Oblivion had 8 cities, but everything outside them, apart from Hackdirt, were muddy wooden huts with three people and no services save the odd inn.

Well I agree the smaller towns in Oblivion were sparsely populated but several of them had NPCs with deep personalities. Hackdirt is a great example of a nice living town but also Aleswell, Cropsford and Bleaker's Way.

Okay developers, listen here PLEASE make it so you don't HAVE to have something equipt in your hands. So for example, you can have a one-handed sword and no magic spell in the other hand.

Although I think that's how it is when you can just go hand-to-hand.

It has already been revealed that you do not need weapons equipped in your hands. Since spells can now be equipped to individual hands you can have Lightning Bolt in your right and and Fireball in your left. Things like that.

"Dragon shouts expand your abilities in many directions. One sends foes hurting away from you, staggered by the force of your yell.
Another slows down time around you."

It also mentions a "blink" dragon shout/whisper. "..to aid in a stealthy approach, like the one that send you instantaneously from one
place to another."

"One particularly potent shout speaks the true name of an actual dragon, and the beast is forced to come to your aid and fight beside you in battle."

Different sized 'snow'-particles falling onto something, f.e. stones or road, and stay on the ground exactly how they supposed to, staying there till they melt...

There are fingerless gloves and bracers.

Though, as far as i can tell from the screenshots it looks like the shoulderpads is still a part of the chest armor.

They are called PAULDRONS!!!!!

But I hope this is wrong. :(

The 14th of this month

Does that mean us who are waiting for it in the mail will get it BEFORE the 14th?

Also I am worried about the AI, like is it going to be like in OB where if I kill someone in one town and not only does the WHOLE town know even tho if I have a high sneak skill or was the only one in the room but also EVERY other town knows as well?

(As of now I am less excited for Two Worlds 2, I know I will be playing that and thinking of Skyrim XP )

In a few of the screens there is that guy with the horned helmet wearing what looks like an iron cuirass with no pauldrons.

There isn't anything to confirm that there is level scaling. It all connects back to the section of the article that mentions that random quests will be tailored to the strengths and weaknesses of your character. I've seen far too many people say "well, level scaling is in exactly like it was in Oblivion."

No no no no no!

The ONLY confirmation we have is that RANDOM QUESTS are scaled to one's level. This makes sense because it wouldn't be fun to get a random quest and not be able to complete it. That's the whole reason random quests exist: to provide something to do for the current player.

Also: "There are over 20 unique shouts in the game, and each one is formed from three words of ocwer(??).
These are acquired in various ways as you journey through the world."

I've been wondering if this means that some paths may become impassable as times during the game due to heavy snowfall. I don't mean main-quest related, but just randomly. It would be kinda cool. I also wonder how NPC's, enemies, and the player will be affected by the snow, as in movement and stats. Perhaps there will be a limit to how high the snow can get.

Those are all great! But only 5 cities..? uhmmm

Down from 8 in Oblivion :( At least I hope they are bigger and more complex.

Maybe there will be several smaller cities between each major city.

True, and on page 50, there is a guy wearing what looks like the same armor/chest clothing as on page 52. Except with a shirt under, and 1 shoulder pad. But im not sure.
