That svcks, because they pretty much confirm Essential NPCs are back.

There might be other games out that will let you kill kids. Hopefully you can find one you can enjoy.

Since the people posting info have mentioned you can kill quest-givers, kids might be the only essential npcs.

Killable kids will still not be a topic for discussion on these forums.

For the people worrying about 2-handed weapons, if I recall correctly, the screen with the giant spider has a guy holding a huge two-handed axe.

I hope not, but if so then go to the construction set and uncheck the "essential" flag likely.

They actually put in 7,000 steps?

lol it's probably not that hard they just take one step clone it 6,999 more times with a little rotation and translation between each one.

Although it might be a hyperbole as well.

Very worried about that as well.

Supposedly EVERYTHING on the map is "travellable" :)

Ok. So this sounds pretty amazing. Especially the duel wielding. Someone said more gore. What is the level of it?

Will be interesting if the dynamic shadows plays a part in stealth (such as in the Thief series).

"For a fantasy world, it's lower tech. We want magic to stand out as something special. It's a bit more brutal. You see these cities that seem like they've been lived in for a thousand years. It feels less Renaissance Faire." - Todd Howard

Some guy is kicked backwards on a pic. Blood drops are clearly visible in the air while he topples on his back.

The trails and paths look very fleshed out and detailed...similar to something you'd see in an illusive open world game like Fable III.

The world is still fully open right? Do any articles talk about world design?

Oh my days if it is not an open world I'll literally head to Bethesda HQ and tie myself to the front of Todd Howards car in protest.

Someone find a world design quote now! D:

It's official. I'm pumped. It may not have everything on my wish list, but the dynamic quests and radiant ai sound awesome. Tavern girl is gorgeous. I just fear what this game is going to do to my computer.

It definitely looks better but not significantly as should be expected since it's still on 360/PS3

Yeah.. they say the quests or encounters will also adjust to your level, or something along those lines.

So no more finishing the game at L3..

Characters appear very muscular. Also noticed a dark elf in armor from the back, the blue colour of the skin was just perfect.
