Extremely frivolous comment, but not only does tavern girl look good, her clothes do also. *has a bit of tamriel sartorial extravaganza syndrom*

*edit* Looks like it... :P

Ha ha! Someone re-created a double waterfall to pool screenshot from a press shot in Oblivion. Once again not so sure the water looks top notch. Hopefully we'll get higher settings on the pc.

From my point of view the water looks much more realistic than Oblivion's, the forest in the background is also very dense... looking gooooooooooooooooood!

I'm liking the diversity of the new spell system.

The article said there is "five massive cities". I thought skyrim had eight?

I doubt it could get worse than Oblivion's... but yes it exists. Dont fret tho. The guys at Beth are not that incompetent.

So we have slow motion, werewolves, dual wielding, more gore, and dragon shouts that grant other abilities.... Im feelin this so far.

Bows also do far more damage. I wonder if head shots count for anything?

Where the hell did you see werewolves? I saw no mention of werewolves.

I'm guessing that there aren't many beast races or elves in the world... since so far we've seen 1 Dark Elf, and a whole lot of Humans.

They're claiming the AI is much better again. Drop a sword and some kid might try and give it back to you, or two dudes might fight over it. Random encounters are here from fallout. I.E. if your a mage some other mage might challenge you to a duel

I'd be utterly disappointed if these would be the only cities. But, Morrowind had 4 massive cities, my guess is that settlements and towns are back :celebration:

As long as there are at least a few of them, and crucially you can play as an Argonian and Khajiit

The ground around the water looks really good. From what I can tell there are roots that grow into the water and plants look really natural and integrated into the world...

It said there are 10 races, I can't imagine what else they'd be.

I'm very happy with the information so far. Some points worry me (I.E Level scaling) - but if Bethesda prefends certain quests from being available until a certain level then it wont be that much of a problem. The screens look awesome, the skeletons look realistic and much better. (Heavier armour; blue shining eyes) The yeti looks very good aswell, you can count it's teeth in its mouth.. hehe. :celebration:

Original home of men... Makes sense, but that would make me sad.

Errrrr... If PC is one of these old dragonborn, is it very likely it would be a non-human one ? Doesn't that mean PC might be confined to human races ?

Maybe not, you could be Nerevarine and Khajit, I know. But still...

Morrowind's item sorting may not have been ideal but it had everything available with one click, stuff could be resized, moved, etc.

Also, on one of the screenshots I noticed the name the devs gave the player character. Bendu Olo. Nice.

Yes, but it wasn't as organized as OB's menu. I could spend a little bit looking for a certain item in the wall of text while in OB, if I'm looking for a root for alchemy in my bags, I go to the tab and click it and there we are. I'd rather have a well organized, multi-layered menu than a menu with everything on one page but then have to search it for what I'm looking for.

And we get to fight the giant spiders from Arena again! Maybe even bigger bwahaha

Holy crap. I can imagine trying to sneak into a building, and throwing out a small bag of money to distract some guards while you make your way in. That would be amazing!

Dragonborn seems like a faction, not a race specific thing.
