Got the OST today!

Post » Fri Dec 16, 2011 8:23 pm

Kinda upset though, the box is dented a bit, no big deal and thought it would be all around better made.
Was expecting it to come in a BOX for added PROTECTION, instead came in a bubble mailer, still has protection but not with my postal service -_-

Sorry for the pictures being bad quality

Orrr you could do it buy paying the composer a cheap amount ($40) to get it shipped to you and not have to do all that work :D

I know the files are on the disc but if they didn't want you to have them for FREE they wouldn't make them a pain to get and if they WANTED YOU to have them for FREE than they would have just made another folder saying the music is here, come take it

I just got mine about 20 minutes ago and am listening now. The audio quality is considerably better then the xwma compressed files found in the game. I have not checked if the 53 tracks on the CD's are the same as the tracks in the game.

I was a little disappointed that there was no booklet. Some of the tracks have choirs singing with lyrics I would like to have printed out.

Yes I do agree on that for sure, my brother asked me today why I bought such a "stupid" thing when you can listen tot he music in the game while playing, I told him it is bound to be much clearer and like in past TES games you could not really LISTEN to the music with all the sounds going on like a battle or dialog at the same time so that is why.

I would have loved a booklet to come with it, hell I would have loved if it was better packaging but eh its good atleast just sad mine is not in "OMG PERFECT CONDITION" since I will look at that little dent in the side forever, XP

I was surprised that it shipped in such a flimsy envelope and can see why some will be damaged in shipment. Mine was OK. Now to compress it all back again for my iPod.

I love it. I was glad that this one was available on a actual CD, instead of just through download.

Yes was surprised as well, you would think that they would not skip on something where they got the most money from people for once on their site and pay for better packaging like a box or something -_- shows the love tho it was shipped by First Class Mail so happy about that but still

Yes agreed yet it does show that they have never shipped anything before, as a person or as a company. Maybe it is just be but I hardly ever ship anything in a bubble envelope and pay the extra money to ship out 99% of my stuff in boxes via Priority Mail (USPS) just to make sure it should get there 98-99% safe depending on how roughly THEIR postal service men/women handle the package

Hopefully mine won't be too damaged, being shipped all the way to Australia. =/

They should have used a small polystyrene box or something to prevent the edges getting damaged. Where do you live, by the way?

Really hope mine isn't damaged. For the price and the wait, it should come in a climate-controlled bubble. Can't wait to get it!

I think I'll wait, I want to buy it mostly for Collector's sake but I'd rather wait and try to find it cheap somewhere.

Cheap? Its up to you but most game sound tracks are more than $40, my Chrono Cross OST had only 3 discs and not as many songs yet it was around $70 if I recall

I remember for MW I pulled the files off the game CD and burned them. I may try that again. I can't image paying $40 for a music CD (especially when I already got them on the game CD).

To be honest I already got this girls MP3 and I'm pretty happy with it.

I ordered mine on the 15th of November and still haven't received it.

An email request for status has gone unanswered for 2 weeks, though after ordering I DID receive both Paypal and DirectSong confirmation emails with a reference number.

I created an account at DirectSong's site but, of course, it doesn't show any past orders...

...this 4-CD set better show up pretty damn pronto, or someone's getting an arrow to the knee.

It takes 4-6 weeks according to DirectSong, so you've still got another week or two left before I'd start to worry. Having ordered mine on the 10th of Nov, I'm in the same boat.
