Got the urge.

I put in so much time in Oblivion, well over 500 hours. Really kind of lost count, may have been closer to 1,000, who knows. I just don't know if I can get into it again, but I'm going to try. I watched some youtube videos of Oblivion and the setting brought back so many fond memories. I have never anticipated a game as much as TES V. My wife thinks I'm crazy and maybe I am, but I'm totally geeked-out over this game. Can't freaking wait.

I arrived to the Oblivion party late...just got in 2008. I played Morrowind from 2003- 2009. I love this 'geeked-out' idea and I actually told my wife that Skyrim was coming, and she gave me the 'your kidding me, right?' look. Looks like 4 more years of hostility! I wish I could play the speechcraft mini-game with her!

I might pop up Morrowind again. I tried Oblivion the other day, but I've overplayed it too much.

I've had the urge to repurchase it. I traded it in last year :sadvaultboy:
I want to buy the GOTY edition though. I haven't touched any DLC.

I bought Morrowind GOTY on Steam yesterday. I don't think it will hold me over until 11.11.11 though.

I know its bad but I just cannot look past the graphics on Morrowind. I never played more than 2 hours of it. I bought it when it first came out and never got into it. I played Oblivion forever and trying to go back to an original XBOX game is just too much.

Mods can fix that.

Morrowind Graphics Extender+Texture replacers/etc and it's a whole new game. (Though NPCs faces definitely still look dated.)

Yes, I'm currently playing Morrowind, then I'll continue those two bloodlines in Oblivion, and eventually Skyrim.

I played some Oblivion a couple of days ago, went to Bruma and bought the house there along with all the upgrades. Got to get acclimatized for Skyrim. :excl:

Indeed, I downloaded a fur coat mod for Morrowind and will soon go to Solstheim.

I was halfway finished with re-playing the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind when Skyrim was announced. But since I've been playing my new copy of Dragon age origins ultimate edition. After I finish witch hunt I'll be going back to Morrowind to finish up. So, in short. YES! :celebration:

I paid a visit to the Skyrim Mission in Ebonheart the day Skyrim was confirmed. I'm not sure what I hoped to achieve by doing it but it felt good.

I never had the pleasure of playing Morrowind, so I am seriously thinking about getting it and playing through to pass the time. I always hear it is a far better game then Oblivion, so I guess I should give it a try and see if it is. I tried watching an LP of it, but that was horrible.

I only ever played Morrowind about a year ago after having been madly in love with Oblivion which I got on release and played to death. Right now I'm dabbling in Morrowind, I haven't beaten it or really even gotten into it that much. I guess I'm just a spoon-fed gamer and Morrowind requires more player effort to get into, IMO. But I'm giving it a good shot, and really enjoy it.

Yep. Been playing MW and OB. With MW, continuing my main to finish Bloodmoon, and with OB, switching between the MQ guy and the adventurer.

Morrowind does require some commitment and is a slower game than MW. But it's like fine wine/beer, it needs to be enjoyed slowly and savored, especially when you install mods.

I have a few mods installed, nothing really game changing though. Darker Morrowind, Better Bodies/Faces,(I think thats what they are called - make the game look a little bit sharper) then one that lets me hire a bunch of Mercs from Vivec but they all require I be a higher level and have more gold than I currently have.
But overall I'm enjoying it. Kind of annoying when I have to travel across the world for a Fighter's Guild mission, only to return to the guy who gave it to me and receive another one to go RIGHT BESIDE where the first one was. At least I figured out the boat, Mage's Guild, and giant walky thingie routes. Although I always stop playing for a few weeks, come back, and completely forget what I was doing and where to turn in a quest due to the minimalist and poorly organized journal.

Any good mods you can recommend? (Off-topic I guess but you would be the people to ask)

And any for Oblivion? I bought that game twice - once full price when it came out for xbox, and again a few months ago on Steam for like 10 bucks since my xbox collects dust nowadays. I wanted to get it on PC so I could mod the hell out of it and refresh my experience. OOO looks cool but I haven't had the balls to go for it yet :P

Playing Morrowind on the PC again after a long break, as well as the newly patched Fallout: New Vegas on the 360.

Also, tonight I have been listening to the works of art that are the soundtracks to Oblivion and Morrowind. Get them on your iPod/MP3 player/whatever and listen to them - they are beautiful.

Hrm...most of my list is stuff that adds even more armor, stops the DB from appearing until I'm a head of an organization/on my way to be the nerevarine, GCD (nice leveling mod), and bleh.

On the mods subject, if you go to the mods section be specific

asking for good MW mods is like asking for air.

Man, the darkbrotherhood is annoying. Although now its just free money every now and then, and is slowly dressing all the merchants in Darkbrotherhoood armor. Still. Annoying.
