Got the urge.

Since Skyrim is as close to a direct sequel we've ever seen I've gotten the urge to go back and start playing Oblivion again. Has anyone else done this?

Oblivion on 360 and Morrowind on PC. I'm playing (or attempting to play) both at the same time. It's intense

I put in so much time in Oblivion, well over 500 hours. Really kind of lost count, may have been closer to 1,000, who knows. I just don't know if I can get into it again, but I'm going to try. I watched some youtube videos of Oblivion and the setting brought back so many fond memories. I have never anticipated a game as much as TES V. My wife thinks I'm crazy and maybe I am, but I'm totally geeked-out over this game. Can't freaking wait.

I like Oblivion, but I've played through so much of it so many times it's hard to be as enthusiastic anymore. :(

I started a new game of Morrowind a little over a week ago. My enthusiasm to replay it has just tripled. I'll play through the main quest and Bloodmoon, but I may skip Tribunal. It just doesn't do all that much for me. Then I'll hit Oblivion again. But most fun is on hold until next week while I finish up finals (and lurk on the boards here, heh).

Yep. Role playing a young Breton named Loki. I plan on becoming a necromancer, or the closest I can get to one.

Only using undead summons, getting the necromancers robes, staff of worms, raise undead spell, and i'm gonna make a few black soul gems for good measure.

Baby, I'm playing the whole series again.

This. Currently playing Arena, then Daggerfall, then Morrowind and expansions, then Oblivion and DLC/expansions. I'm sure that will hold me over until at least November.

Ehh...
I hate to be negative but Oblivions flaws ruined its whole story for me, I've tried replaying it. I always fall back on Morrowind...
But the urge is there...

I;m continuing to play Morrowind, I;ve started replaying Oblivion, and I'm going to reinstall and play Arena and Daggerfall so I;m going to be playing all four TES games at one time.

Playing again as a kind of an Argonian witch-monk, or something like that, my 7 major skills that are the skills I focus on are Alchemy, Light Armor, Hand To Hand, Conjuration, Restoration, Alteration and Marksman.

It′s quite fun, I′m also restricting myself from using any super enchants, just getting more mana and nothing else as enchants and my birthsign is just the mage.

I can't go back to Morrowind or Oblivion. I've seriously played them both to death. I'm currently playing through the Icewind Dale series, Medieval: Total War II and Lord of the Rings Online to get my fantasy fix until Skyrim hits.

If I was to go back, it'd definitely be Morrowind. I love it's atmosphere so much. :)

I would like to but, then I would have to buy it for the 360 because my old computer broke :brokencomputer: and my new one can't run it.

I have already started Oblivion playing again. I wish I could get Morrowind working then I could play that seeing as I have never played it completely through.

I never stopped playing Oblivion. I'm thinking about firing up Morrowind again.

I haven't stopped playing either Morrowind or Oblivion since their release, especially with all the mods etc. Even if it has been for just a little while once a week to try out a new armor mod or something. I am currently playing Nehrim, which isn't Oblivion, but is taking the edge off the Sky-Jitters.

Ah, I forgot about that. I plan on playing that, too, to hold me over until November. I've only seen about the first six hours but it looks very promising so far.

It's funny. I was happily playing New Vegas when I heard the news about Skyrim. Now I'm playing Morrowind again. I guess I'm just fickle.

I was thinking about it, by I've played Oblivion so many times now that it gets dull within minutes, maybe if I was on PC and had mods.
