Coming to XBLA, PSN, and PC, this Monolith-developed first-person shooter puts players in the roles of wannabe Batmen and Jokers (known as The Bats and The Jokerz in-game).

Oh man. I can just imagine how the meeting went for this.

Publisher: Hey, the Batman franchise is a really big seller these days. And the kids just love that CoD stuff!
Monolith: But...
Publisher: I DON'T CARE JUST MAKE IT HAPPEN!

Sounds fun. Deliberate bastardization of a well known title could be great if done right.

Monolith, I though you were lost in the dank and dark shooter horror genre, and then something like this comes along.
The concept sure sounds like fun, and Monolith has made two of the most fun fun-based fun funny fun fun fun-shooters of all time. If you can name the protagonist from the top of your head you can take one of those candy apples over there and join the club.
