What are peoples opinions on these games and as someone who loves Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Witcher would you recommend them to me?

Specifically the PC version given that I hear there is significant difference between that and the console version.

Both series have seen better days. Both of their latest entries have been dumbed down immensely.

My two hour-long experience with Gothic 1 can be summed up with: Clunkiness, bad voice acting, and hard to explain fun.

Not very informative, but that's what I remember.

Also would anyone recommand Two World 2?

Gothic 1 is quite good, but the controls are rather... odd... and can take an hour or two to get used to (although once you do get used to them they actually work pretty well). Gothic 2 (plus expansion) improved in Gothic 1 in pretty much every possible way and is a great game (and is the strongest in the series IMO). Gothic 3 was extremely ambitious but lost focus a bit as a result. With the community patch it's still a pretty good game, and of the series is the closest to the TES games in terms of structure and feel. Stay away from the Forsaken Gods expansion and Arcania (that's all I'll say about those two). Risen was quite good, very similar in structure to the first two Gothic games, and is a good starting point for those new to the series as it's a fresh start in terms of lore and is modern enough to avoid some of the clunkiness of the first two games. Risen 2 was a significant step back from Risen, and isn't something I'd recommend unless you've played G1-3 and Risen and just really, really want to play another game in the series.
