Been a great year for gamers- So many great games have been released (depending on the critic of course) - But ive had my share of fun.
Deus Ex - Great experience working on stealth and uncovering the truths behind a conspiracy.
Dead Island - A great excuse to run around with friends and chop of limbs and see zombies drown in 5 inch water.
Rage - While a comic touch on the visuals, it also provided a smooth line i have never seen before.
The ongoing war between Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 still rages on between these two fps giants.
Saints the Third - Over the top comedy and action, also available for co-op so you can car-surf while the driver rams a pedestrian.
Gears Of War - One of the best co-op experiences ive had in a long time.
Fear 3 - Never being a huge fan, this one was the one that made me wanna research the story of the previous releases (despite the original fans criticism) -
Dark Souls - Which was predicted to be the biggest competition when it comes to Skyrim this year. . . (while a challenging and enjoying game, it was no match in my eyes)-
Uncharted 3 - While not a fan, i can respect the huge fan-base for the game-

And many more. . . . Which i will spare you all for since no one wants to read this much nonsense online.

All I want to say is: While there have been so many great titles this year, it is in my eyes a great achievement to have gained the award for Game Of The Year in 2011- And I feel this is the rightful owner of that title.
Despite people pointing out flaws in the game, we cant overlook the enormous details and features built in the title.

So congrats - And thanks again to the team for delivering what to me is truly the best game of the year.
Cant wait to see what might follow of either DLC or rumors of a new title in the future.

A last thing which i have mentioned before. . . .I really wish Bethesda would sit down and look at something like Vampire the Masquerade : Bloodlines. This to me is still the best RPG there is (with Skyrim right behind it) - And its almost impossible to think what a 3rd Masquerade game would look like - But if anyone could make a great successor, its the guys at Bethesda.
A vampire title with the famous large scale free-roam maps as known in Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3 - Modern time streets and old mansions. Scripts from White Wolfs / World Of Darkness - And then developed by Bethesda....... = Win.
But yeah, might never happen. . .. But one can dream
