i just bought the game of the year for fallout 3 yesterday and it's my first venture into the game and im loving it but ive installed both discs yet once i exit the vault the first time and ive been to megaton, i still don't have any signals regarding the DLC quests and content. from the manual it seemed they would open to me at the exit of the vault.

so when do i get the signals/messages regarding the DLC in my GOTY edition?
if im supposed to get them right away, what am i doing wrong to not be getting them?
