Hi Everyone

Recently I bought Fallout 3 GOTY on Steam and have come across a problem after I activate the purifier at the end of the game.
After entering the code (216) and hitting enter, instead of removing player control and showing the pc falling over like normal; I am still able to move around. Then the cut scene plays like normal but when it finishes, instead of Broken Steel automatically starting up, I am left standing in the purifier control room. I have seen other's posts on the same issue with solutions like installing a mod that fixes modded races and removing the FWE patch 6.00 to 6.03 but none of these have worked for me.
