I got oblivion goty about a month ago for 360, and up till now i have been frustrated with the expansion packs which have decided they dont want to work for me. I havent been notified in the journal about shivering isles start, and the prophet/priest outside the chapel in anvil is not there. So far i have done the following:

-Updated dashboard, above the version needed for goty
-Set time up to date, somehow got set back to 05 awhile back.
-Rested plenty more than 1 in game day.
-Un installed then re installed the expansions multiple times after i thought i seemingly fixed the issue

Also note i dont have xbox live, this has been working my nerves lately, hopefully its just somethin i have overlooked

I'm pretty sure you need LIVE to be able to install the DLC. There's a certain update that your system needs to have in order to install the DLC. That's what worked for me. If you can't access LIVE at your house, take it to a friend's house and use their internet.

You don't on the ps3 so why is the 360 version any different.

I dont know either, i tried updating the dashboard, now its at 2.9 something, thought having that instead of 2.8 would work? i have no idea whats goin on
