Seriously though, why does anyone need some company, tv station, or silly award ceremony to tell them what game is GOTY? BF3 is GOTY for me because I enjoy it more than any other game, Skyrim is second. I don't need someone to tell me what is best and validate my opinions.

Skyrim also got Machinima so...

But anyway I didn't realize GOTY awards were like matter/antimatter. Should have payed more attention in physics.

I assume, if a person takes GOTY awards seriously in their game purchases, that they would look at the particular award and think "Hmmm I am usually in agreement/disagreement with X".

If you like/respect G4 but not SpikeTV (or vice versa), then the award carries different weight. If you like both then I guess your head explodes.

$100,000,000.00 (US) was spent developing the game (according to IMDB) and they couldn't spend $10,000.00 of that to pay a writer for a decent explanation for Alduin's presence? After playing through the amazing well written Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild quest lines, the idea behind the main story quests is a massive let down. It was a face palm moment that only makes me ask what's next? Will the dwemer reappear driving DeLorian time machines?

I have to disagree. As much as I love skyrim. I believe the only other game that gave skyrim a run for it's money was Arkham City

alduin came back because they sent him forword in time to when skyrim takes place

I love how you stick to your assumption that I wanted Skyward to win even though I dont own a Wii or gave any knowledge to it or ANY game. Even Pete Hines noted that 42 minutes passed until a single award was given.

All im saying is this show is trash. Keep defending this- you look so foolish.
