I'll say you can go without the Courier's Stash, but I would certainly recommend GRA.

I'd definitely get GRA but Couriers Stash really isn't anything special imo, mostly just fan service for all the people who wanted the pre-order items released on a dlc.

Got them both, don't regret them at all for the money I spent on them. GRA will delight any character type you can think of and Courier's Stash will make sure that damn near anything you make has some starting swag - sadly none of the packs came with an Energy Weapon, though. I DID find after a few restarts that having all four of the Courier's Stash DLCs made the early game economy kind of imbalanced as all get-out so I disabled the Tribal Pack as it had the least amount of stuff I personally found useful.

That's probably the best part right there, is if you think you're getting too much stuff, you can just toggle off one, two, or three of them as you see fit.

Courier's Stash is kind of a mixed bag. It's great for beginning a new character because all of that stuff gets placed in your inventory right off the bat, which is helpful. But later into the game, you'll likely end up shelving most of it as better equipment becomes available.

Nets you some good caps early on though.

Yep, true. Although I think that if I were to ever begin a new character, I'd probably delete Courier's Stash and not re-download it until beginning Dead Money (upon first arriving at the Sierra Madre).

Huh. That's a pretty clever way of making the beginning part of the dlc more tolerable. Kudos. I'd even try it out if I ever wanted to play through DM again (which I don't, survival games are not really my thing, but still).

GRA isn't worth it if you're on PC.
