Grab button - Non existant

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 9:39 pm

Hey guys & gals.

Sorry if this has been posted before, I'll get around to looking at all of the threads soon.

Basically, here's my very very basic problem.

I have no grab function :(

The X button isn't working & in the options > controls > There is no 'Grab' option :/

I want to be able to move items. I want to be able to stack bodies into various positions before mini-nuking the lot of them.

I want my grab button.

Any solutions? :(
Cheers.

There are objects you can grab and move but nowhere near as much as earlier Bethesda games. On the plus side, it seems like they removed Havok physics (I didn't check the credits yet but this is what it seems like in-game). The moving and dropping of objects seems closer to Morrowind where Havok wasn't used.

To move an item, press & hold the "Activate" button/key. To release it, just press the same button/key.

I swear I tried it... And when I did it was on a body, and I tried a tin can, etc.

I'll try again when I get back to my PC. Cheers.

um... the "take" button hold it, and you will "grab", click again to let it go...

It's actually hard-coded to E--it doesn't change with the Activate key if you remap it to another key.

Press and hold E to grab, press it again to drop non-inventory items, or press and hold to drop items that can go into inventory (just pressing with these items will cause you to take the item).
