Graphic Issues - Aliasing and texture popping

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 7:32 am

Hi All

As I'm sure most (if not all) of you have found the 360 version of Brink is suffering from major graphical issues. I have been posting daily on Splash Damage's forum for a few days and after initial interest from Crispy (Lead Production Tester for SD?) there has been no further posts from anyone from SD for nearly 3 days so I thought I'd try my luck here. Have any of the issues been acknowledged here (anti-aliasing issues and texture popping) if so any news on when they may be resolved?

If any further evidence is needed please take a look at the thread mentioned above which contains pictures and videos from myself and others http://www.splashdamage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25808.

There's another thread on here where Gstaff said they're "actively looking into issues reported [on the boards]." It just posted around noon today. Not exactly the most informative but they see us yelling about all this so I'm a little relieved, if nothing else.

Thanks Dreamwinder, that's a start I suppose. Gonna be playing La Noir this weekend (was gonna trade Brink it to get it but as they have at least acknowledged the problems I'll give them a little more time) and come back here next week to see if there has been any movement.

The graphical problem of texture poping seems to be eased if you increase your gammar to near the maximum.
