So Demanufakture can get a rest...and for Crytek to know the 'grain glitch' still annoys us

We're waiting and hanging in there Crytek...not sure how long though...LA:NOIRE will be here soon.

yeah LA Noire will be where this Crysis 2 grain thing will come to a head. i only trade in old sports games to free up space for new versions of the same game but this is really ticking me off now to have a game sitting aside for so long waiting for a grain fix is stupid.

Since the patch I haven't seen the grain glitch. I'm so happy! **knock on wood** Oh yeah I almost forgot how gorgeous this game looks!!

5) Reproducable? No....at least not right now.

Crytek already said the latest patch didn't fix the grain bug. They also said that they understand everyone is complaining about it, and they are currently working on a fix and will hopefully have it resolved soon.

Edit: But I do hope "soon" means, like, within the month lol. This grain thing is annoying me soooo much.

I know Crytek said the latest patch didn't fix or wasn't meant for the grain bug but I'm only speaking from my experience. So far, so good whether it was intentional or accidental.

This thread feels like it's dying. Where is everyone? I'd like to hear from others after the patch whether they still have the grain or was it wiped out by accident. I myself am still testing but since the patch I haven't seen it. This is weird.

I very much still have the glitch. There is literally nothing I can do on my end to fix it. I've tested it to death. It is a game bug and Crytek is the only one that can fix it. Why you don't have it anymore and nothing changed for me is mind boggling to me.

...and that's the thing. Even though I don't have it at the moment it doesn't mean that I think the whole issue in general is less frustrating. What it tells us is that the bug seems almost completely random and unpredictable which is not good. This is why we need to hear from different people. Lately it seems like the same people coming in here when in fact we need more opinions from different people.

I'm pretty sure Crytek has all the info they need in this thread which is 72 pages long. Hopefully they have their feedback and are working on a fix. I play the game anyway and enjoy it despite the glitch. I just wish they would release a fix soon, like tomorrow. It can't come soon enough. :/

Well i never experienced this until that latest patch, as soon as it updated i got it and badly. It's worse than any screenshot i've seen and it's unplayable for me atm, it's at it's worse using nanovision or looking at any light source in normal view. I haven't read this thread but if there's no feedback or acknowledgement from the developers i'm trading this for Brink.

Well well well guess what made a return last night while I was playing? It happened at the save point when you first come outside to start the Queensboro bridge level. Can't remember the name of that particular story mission right now sorry.

The funny thing is that when I was playing this game the previous night on the same level there was no grain. Now I'm only guessing here.... but it seems as though the grain MIGHT have something to do with the save system. Meaning when I first got to that level I played the game straight. It wasn't a game save "resume" session like last night when I saw the grain.

I must say that sometimes it is very hard to see but it was there. You know when you double check it in nanovision mode. Also if you look up in the sky against the blue or cloud background you will see it. Cry-Adam any updates?
