Hi, I just tuned in here to see, if anyone else has this grainbug-thing... I am pretty shocked you guys talked about that for over 8 weeks now and still: nothing happened...
I hope, like posted by Demanufakture, there is coming a patch! I bought the game twice times now and I am actually pretty pissed off, too...

Yup, there is nothing to be done about it. Only Crytek can fix it and they seem unwilling to ever do that in any timely manner. It reminds of how Ubisoft Montreal took six months to fix the issue of corrupt saves on the XBox 360 version of FarCry2 that prevented players from ever passing the game. It took them six months to fix that and then they abandoned support for the game. It's looking like it could take six months for Crytek to fix this glitch. Why? I have no idea. You would think they would want their game to have perfect graphics on all platforms, but obviously they couldn't care less. They clearly aren't in any rush to fix this game which says a lot if you ask me. It says to me that even they aren't excited about their new game anymore. :/

Deman, it sounds to me like you're starting to lost hope...just like I am. I think we've been patient enough about this issue. I think that enough is enough and that if they haven't fixed the issue by now then when are they going to fix it??? I think I can speak for the both of us when I say that we're just about fed up with this issue. Crysis 2 has been sitting on my bookshelf ever since the grain bug came back the 2nd time for me. At this point, if I could get my money back that I spent on the game, I would. The level of support that we've received so far is absolutely horrendous. I feel helpless with regards to this issue. I just want to get my money back now. **** Crytek and their **** damn support. (if I get banned for this, who gives a ****. I'm fed up!)

I think we have all been patient! But 2 months is a stretch. I am in game development myself and I know how bugs can be a daunting task to correct. But I have spoken with a few devs from other companys and all concur that this should have been fixed sooner, if not being a chief priority. What stings me the most is they pulled a Sony and did even admit it was there! Even after videos and pics showed up in the internets! 2nd, how did this not show up in testing and certification? They also should be a little more forthcoming about their progress with this issue. It not entirely prevented me from playing, as I do think this is one of the best FPS around! But on a few occasion I have shut it off or changed game as a result of the grain. I wish I look at it like a guy posted earlier saying he found it cool as he thought was like looking through a real visor! More power to him! But Crytek, to you, the company, please o' please fix this NOW! Perhaps an update on the situation would enlighten our perception of you andmyour game.

You should be ashamed for even buying the DLC.

I cannot believe this hasn't been fixed yet. I come here everyday thinking that today has to be the day, but I continue to get nothing. It's truly unremarkable. I don't think they're going to fix this.

Crytek seem determined to not want their game to succeed. Either that or they are the slowest bug fixers on the planet.

Personally i dont see it anymore, although the last i played Crysis was 2 weeks ago (exams), and it was not there for me. Now i do have a very old TV so that may be why i never did notice this bug, but i also never noticed it on my friends 52' plasma. So really im posting this to see if it really is THAT big a deal and if everyone else still sees it, or if its just something everyone is OCD about.

What are you smoking? Crytek has never stated that they fixed this bug. In the latest patch notes it says they are aware of the bug and hope to have it resolved soon. Get a clue. Yes the bug is still there, and you have it to. As does anybody with the 360 version of the game. We all have the same game. There are temporary workarounds for the glitch, but it will always come back until Crytek fixes it.

The majority of the time I see this glitch mainly on Skyline at the glass house and on Parking Deck inside the Parking Garage.
