Too many people overhype Morrowind. It was good, not great. Oblivion is great.

Plus, the graphics when you're walking around in Cyrodiil pwn's Morrowinds inferior graphics. I still can't understand the love for Morrowind, esp in terms of graphics. It's an old, old game with weak visuals.

I agree, the most important part of a game, especially an RPG, is graphics. By far. Generally RPGs use too many numbers - I like my numbers to be in the amount of decals it can display at once, not strength of my character!

Or rather, Oblivion is a newer game. Of course it has better graphics. Why is this at all relevant to which one plays better? (Especially with things like Morrowind Graphics Extender)

It's important because Morrowind is overhyped, and it doesn't deserve to be, esp in regards to the graphics.

I don't believe anybody has "overhyped" Morrowind's vanilla graphics, at least not in the past 5 years. It has a very different style to oblivion, less realistic and more fantasy. Some people could prefer that, even given Oblivion's technical superiority.

Somewhat more importantly, your opinion of a video game does not warrant it's own topic. We *all* have opinions, so creating a topic stating yours as fact and denouncing all who agree based on a very flimsy argument is worthless at best, trolling at worst.

Graphics mean nothing if you like one game more than another, I hate call of duty but I love super mario bros 3 I'm not going to change my opinion because call of duty has better graphics.

I'm not going to take anyone seriously when they have a name like yours TC (i jest of course). But seriously, you'll be very outnumbered if you continue to push this silly point of yours.
