Graphics are fantastic if you have the rig to run it.

Have a quick look at: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2011/03/29/crysis-2-technical-anolysis/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+rockpapershotgun%2Fsteam+%28Rock%2C+Paper%2C+Shotgun%3A+Steam+RSS%29
Retract your statement?

I'm running a brand new sandybridge rig here; I'm maxing as much as I can, the graphics aren't good. They are artistically good, and the motion blur serves to cover up a lot of faults, but if we're going to get technical here, and talk about the graphics - they are worse, a lot worse.

This. Couldn't agree more.

I like the style they went with and the theme for the game (minus the road blocks and invisible walls) but the textures are low-res when you get close to them. There's probably one reason why they didn't want people to take off motion blur, because once you do, you really notice how dated the graphics are.

Beat the game last night, story was ok, graphics look like sh*t most of the time, but the biggest letdown for me was the lack of destructible environments and the linear gameplay.

If I had to buy it again at $60 + tax, I wouldn't. And yes, my rig runs it quite well at 1080p maxed out. (Phenom II X6 1100T, 6970 2GB, 8GB ram)
